  A bit of peace

  Our 2nd visit. Such a tranquil place, lovely garden down to the beach. Quiet pool area, incredible staff, all so friendly & professional. Good food. Seems most guests were like us & just wanted some R & R. This is the place for that. Thank you Cala Caterina

  A totally lovely hotel

  The gardens are beautiful. Flowers everywhere. The room was rustic but everything we wanted was there and worked. Everywhere was as clean as it was possible to be. Not even a dogend anywhere. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Starting with a cheery Bon jiorno from everyone to the chatty waiters. The pool surprised us as its bigger than its photo suggests. And of course sparklingly clean warm too. A really lovely hotel. So glad we chose it as a last minute holiday.

  beautiful location, mixed quality of staff

  The hotel and lounge are beautiful. The pool is small but nice for a quick plunge, though there is next to no chance of getting a lounge chair as all are typically already reserved early in the morning. The beach is also beautiful, but quite small and public but umbrellas are available if you get there early. Beaches in the area are larger and just as nice. Have a car, travel around. Also have a car to go out to eat. The food at the hotel restaurant is good, but the selection remains the same and will get monotonous quickly. The restaurant staff is generally friendly enough, but usually extremely slow and we did not have the patience to eat there after a few times. For example, we once waited 20 minutes just to get the menu, a dirty plate stood alone on an empty table for 15 minutes until somebody took it away, and once the restaurant becomes less crowded, the staff begin to clean up and there is little chance of getting a waiter to serve you any more - not to mention how long it takes for coffee to be brought once ordered in the morning - a true test of one's patience. These things would not happen in competently run restaurant - and did not in the other restaurants we went to - and we began to arrange to eat out whenever possible. Having said that, the staff at the bar are friendlier and generally much faster, though the menu is the same as that of the restaurant. The cleaning staff is excellent, sometimes coming twice a day to clean. All in all, this hotel is somewhat over-priced, but fitting the jet-setting clientele, also not quite my cup of tea.

  Delightful hotel

  A delightful small hotel popular with Italians. Oozes Sardinian character . During our visit there were very few English people around so evenings were quiet for us at the hotel . The hotel is spotless and had delightful gardens leading down a set of rocky steps to a small beach which is pebbles rather than sand . It is shared with the public but the hotel provides beach beds, towels and umbrellas . We loved the pool area too and despite the hotel being busy we never had a problem finding a sun bed. Excellent WiFi at the hotel which even extends to the beach - amazing . Endless supply of beach towels. Breakfast was fantastic- fresh juice smoothies, omelet cooked to order and a great array of fabulous fruit, cakes, hams and cheese etc. The hotel is a little isolated so a car is recommended. The main restaurant is good but meals were expensive- even snacks around the pool . We had great service there . Although the hotel was full most of the 9 days we were there , it never felt busy , indeed most evenings we were the only people drinking in the outside lounge area.

  Small is Superb

  Great Location (from your room through a great garden directly to a small beach) Very friendly staff, wonderful pool and great dinner (we had BBQ) and superb breakfast. Please enjoy the sunset with a glass of Prosecco or Aperol Spritz
