  Excellent small hotel

  Lovely small hotel ( 5 bedrooms ). Breakfast included in price which was continental style and more than sufficient. Rooms traditional , simple and cheerful enough, owners recently upgraded all bathrooms and going to make other improvements sympathetic to the property. Air conditioning very good, comfortable bed, excellent harbour position with great rooftop patio with view over most of the harbour with hardly anyone ever using it. Would definitely go back, lovely owners good prices, ideally located and never heard any noise from harbour front despite being so close.

  Owner canceled my reservation 48 hours prior (which was booked more than 6 months before)

  What can I say except I cannot believe the owner did this to me 48 hours prior to my arrival. I booked this Hotel for 6 nights greater than 6 months ago via Hotels.com. I was already in Greece travelling and two days before I was to travel to Chania from Piraeus I got an email saying that Captain Vasilis had to cancel my reservation. I found out that he chose to cancel me (a solo traveller) to accommodate a wedding party which Im sure did not book way back in March like I did. I expect he was paid a higher price for the room. I fail to believe that one cannot manage 6 rooms... its not like this is a large Hotel. Anyways I want people to be aware of this serious situation as this tells something about the character of Captain Vasilis. He was aware that I had booked the 9 hour ferry already from Piraeus to Chania (Souda Harbour) and that I was travelling by myself. It was very stressful to try and find another hotel in the area that I wanted to be in (being by myself) with only 48 hours notice AND not having a computer to research this.

  Amazing

  Traveling solo no better place to go . Stayed three nights in three different rooms (by choice) all an amazing experience of charm, comfort and nothing to much trouble. Breakfast varied and served by a young student with impeccable attention to detail and a will to please. Vasillis the owners son was extremely helpful, with daily suggestions on where to go and directions, excellent English, helping me to book my return flights and stopping to check all was well when he saw me around town. Late/end of season what an incredible time to go to Crete Waiting for the olives Tina New forest

  Wonderful place

  Cozy and clean hotel. Very good breakfast. We booked the room with balcony and the view was amazing! Very romantic. Also friendly staff. The hotel has also a rooftop balcony! You see the entire Chania port golf from the balcony. I felt like home in this hotel. When I have entered the room I instinctively wanted to take my shoes off.

  Wonderful place to stay

  Great location just behind the Venetian Harbour and with a lovely roof terrace to take advantage of the view. The hotel staff were friendly and informative - made us feel very welcome. The room was clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was a delicious selection of local produce and cuisine - the perfect start to our day. Thank you - we will be back and for longer!
