  Lovely family run business

  From the day we arrived to the day we left we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Freida and her son Paul are really friendly and make you feel welcome. They also have pets including the lovely Rea the friendliest guard dog you will ever meet. The room itself was great for the price, with a kettle,fridge and two ring hob. Although when we arrived the bar sold a mainly English type menu part way through our stay Paul started to offer a different Greek dish every night. The whole complex is clean and tidy and there is a shop close by plus Kavos town is only a fairly short walk away. We had a car for our stay so were able to visit the large supermarkets on the Lefkimi bypass which are really great and offer a huge range of food and drink. It's a great place to use as a base to explore the island from especially as the road back from Corfu town has a great many sea views. Overall we really had a great time here and definitely recommend Captain's to everyone.

  Like visiting family

  Just come back from visiting captains 10 days during Covid restrictions. Have to say thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Freida, Paul and Billy are so welcoming. Stayed in studio apartment straight onto pool. Rooms although basic were clean and comfortable. Could perhaps do with extra facilities such as a basic toaster but we managed with the 2 ring hot plate provided. Plus the snack bar provides food cheap enough if you do not want to cook. The friendly labrador Rea was a joy especially as we are dog lovers. Freida and her sons are so hard working to ensure you enjoy your stay. We actually thought she was like a superwoman as she always seems to be on the go. Far enough away from the lively Kavos which was obviously in a subdued state due to Covid restrictions but should we visit again was definitely book some type of transport to explore the island. Captains is on the main road to Kavos so can be a bit noisy with motorbikes and quad bikes but didn't bother us. Free safe and air conditioning in the room greatly appreciated especially as we tended to shut the doors when inside as the mosquitoes seemed to think my husband was lunch. If you want somewhere to just chill out and just be away from hustle and bustle of daily life this is definitely somewhere to visit. The pool was gorgeous and just a hop skip and a jump from our terrace. We wish the family a successful season and hope next year becomes a greater success. DONNA AND MIKE - SOUTH WALES

  Another fantastic stay!

  We should have been here in April but it was cancelled due to Covid 19. Our Summer holiday was also cancelled. So I got in touch with Captain's (Paul) and arranged a 2 bedroom apartment. 2 weeks later we were there.(August) It was our third time and we feel like family, Paul, Freeda and Billy make us feel so at home. Nothing is too much trouble. Each year they try to add a little something extra , this year it was the addition of a four poster sunbed with curtains. Very nice. The bar and food are great and we are always well looked after. The family will give you recommendations of places to visit. We love this place so much we have booked for October and hope to book for April 2021. Weather was lovely with a few thunderstorms but they soon clear. We went to Aqualand and a boat trip both really good and socially distanced. Great care is taken at Captain's with hand sanitiser on the bar and tables, chairs, sunbeds etc cleaned regularly. Santa Barbara beach is nice and around a 15min drive. Thank once again and see you in October-all being well.Ps make sure you take mosquito repellent. Freeda thank you for my Aloe plant it is doing well.

  Last minute Corfu holiday

  Booked last minute as we couldn't go to see family in Portugal. Not disappointed in the slightest. Wonderful family run business. Clean everywhere, home-cooked food was delicious. The family running the business were wonderful, friendly and so helpful. Will definitely come back. Very soon hopefully.

  What a gem!

  We are on our last night at this beautiful property. We cannot thank Freda, Paul and Billy enough for their warm welcome and hospitality. Nothing has been too much trouble. The rooms are spotless and cleaned regularly by the wonderwoman that is Freda! I don't know where she gets her energy from! She is always on the go and always has the time of day for all of her guests. The food here is beautiful and freshly cooked to order. The selection of bar drinks is second to none, and it's difficult to decide whether Billy or Paul make the best strawberry daiquiri ...so of course you need to sample a few! Rea is just gorgeous, Paul's beautiful labrador. She loves nothing more than having a dip in the sea with friends. All we can say is a heartfelt thank you for making our holiday as special as it has been, and we hope to see you all
