Welcoming boutique hotel in the heart of Hamra.

It's a contemporary, stylish hotel for a reasonable price, especially if breakfast is part of the deal. We found staff to be very welcoming and helpful, especially on reception and in the bar . The hotel is ideally situated for sightseeing around Beirut (Pigeon Rocks, the Corniche, etc. are within walking distance) and for using as a base for guided tours outside of Beirut (Harissa, Jeita, Byblos, etc.). The tours that we took picked us up at a nearby hotel about 5 minutes walk away. The rooms are spacious and modern, with comfortable beds and ultra clean sheets. The room and en-suite we had was generally clean with the shower, sink and toilet spotless; however there were some neglected corners for example the tiled floor in our room could have done with mopping rather than brushing.. The bars across the way from the hotel can be noisy late on for rooms that face the street. To some extent this is minimised with the double-glazed windows and air-conditioning, but you would need to bear this is mind, especially if you are not a late-night person yourself and are a light sleeper. Staying as couple, we were here for 5 nights in May and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel added to our experience of visiting Beirut and we would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.

    Great staff, real family hotel

First of all our compliments to the staff. Especially front desk and restaurant staff were marvoulous. They do everything they can to help you or give you great advice on what to visit. The hotel has a nice pool and private beach. The room was large and well furnished. Wifi works fine, although not very fast. Nice bathroom with rainshower. The only minor thing: its aimed 100% at fzmilies with little children, which we overlooked while booking. So if you are looking for a quiet restful hotel, you must be aware this could be a bit of a problem.

    Dont miss this!

This is a cool, reasonably priced, boutique hotel recommended to me by a Lebanese friend. He wasnt wrong! Its short on bling (in this sometimes bling inclined city) but not short on style. There are some little oddities in the rooms: wonky soup dishes and slightly shabby decor but this almost adds to the charm. The gin bar is fabulous and seems very popular with locals. We only ate breakfast here but the food on the rest of the menu looked very inviting and seemed to offer a healthy alternative to the heavily shawarma/kebabish influenced local Hamra options. This area is exciting and youthful and felt more edgy than the more affluent Eastern parts of Beirut where a lot of the big chain hotels are situated. Having said that, we felt totally safe and every day we made friends with local Lebanese people. There was a minor glitch with our room because of a mismatch with the website description. The lovely staff could not have worked harder to sort this out - entirely to our satisfaction in the end. I would recommend this place to all but the stuffedest of shirts.

    Charming, Central and Comfortable!

Set in a quiet street and very close to the centre of Beirut, this is a charming and friendly Boutique hotel. Reception was very good and check-in was easy. They even offered to carry my 8Kg bag for me! The rooms are clean and nice except for a little bit of water damaged peeling paint. Beds were comfortable and toilets/bathrooms etc were fresh. Downstairs there is a well-stocked bar. The bar service is very good. Breakfast was good but the service was a little bit slow. A great place. I was here on three occasions and they knew me by my name!
