  Be Patient in Covid Times and You will enjoy!

  Took 2 nights with the husband and two teens for a change of scenery from Montreal. Be patient, this hotel was first about ensuring your safety, then your happiness and relaxation. When we arrived for our 4pm check-in, our room was not ready. THey immediately gave us four vouchers for drinks up on the terrace bar, saying they would text us when our room was ready. I had a similar experience back in November when I was at this hotel for a conference- our rooms were not ready. They did not comp me any drinks but did text me within 30minutes. After almost 2 hours, my husband and daughter went to the front desk to inquire. It seems the cleaning company's system and the hotel system do not communicate well, so there was some misinformation! We were given a room, and went to check-in and our cards didn't work. Upon closer listening- the room appeared to be occupied! I knocked and sure enough, our concerns were confirmed! Back to check-in. They were so apologetic. They were at capacity and ensured us if they could not get us a room at the hotel, they would give us one of their condos at a nearby location. DO negotiate with them. They almost gave us a simple room, 2 beds, but we really wanted the loft so our kids could have some space between us. My daughter explained that I had been to this hotel before, and that if I wanted a simple room, I would have picked a simple hotel. They were very understanding and apologetic. We went to dinner, and upon returning, got a slightly better room than we had resesrved! They also complemented us two free breakfasts for both days (value $20 pp = $160.00. The second day, when we returned from our excursions, there was a complementary bottle of sparkling cider, some gourmet popcorn and chocolates waiting for us! Be patient, and good things will come. It has only been a few weeks that they have resumed full service, and hey, pandemic managment is new to us all, right? Lovely stay, breaksfast choices from à la carte menu were varied and tasty and the staff was ALWAYS polite. No complaints.

  Poor sound insolation and no access to amenities

  We stayed in the condo for 2 nights. We were very disappointed to discover that we were not allowed to use the hotels pool. Poor customer service. The bedroom was large enough to only fit the bed. The gas fireplace was lit no more than two inches. The condos overlook a water park and you can see the guests lined up for the slides in front of your balcony. Worst of all was that there was no insolation in the walls. We heard the kids upstairs run around and screen 24/7. I will never go back here and would not recommend it.

  False Advertising

  We stayed in the Condos offered on Chateau-Bromonts website which we booked through the hotel. While the condo was spacious and served our purpose, it was a shock to discover we had NO access to the hotel amenities. No POOL. Not the condo pool which is for owners only and not the hotel pool which is for hotel guests only. Nor were we even considered hotel guests. Basically you are renting a condo that is walking distance from Chateau Bromont. Their website is very misleading and by remaining silent on the subject that guests of the condos have no access to hotel amenities is false advertising. Stay was ok but we were obviously very disappointed. Chateau-Bromont needs to either make guests of condos true hotel guests or take the condos as a room option off their site.

  Nice overall experience

  Chateau Bromont is an overall very nice hotel, very well located and next to an amazing golf course (probably a must stay if you enjoy it). Make sure to dine at Les Quatres Canards! My girlfriend and I had an amazing time and the meals were simply fantastic! However, the bed in the room we were in was not comfortable (nor were the pillows). We would also not recommend the Bistro: the menu was lacking in variety, the food was disappointing and it was expensive. Theres better options in Bromont if you want a pub-style meal.

  Home for Two Weeks

  I have been living at the Chateau Bromont for over two weeks. The rooms are simple but lovely and clean. The restaurant and pub are solid if somewhat limited in their choices. All in all, this is a wonderful place to stay. Special shout out to Lani at the front desk. That they were able to find such an outright superstar in such a small town is nothing beyond miraculous. She is outstanding, always making me feel at home far away from home. This is simply a superior human being who works so hard ensure that you have a great visit.
