    Friendly Quiet Place To Stay

    I stayed at the Clark Renaissance in April with my fiancee. The room was very clean and nice. All the staff were very friendly. The only negative is the very limited menu in restaurant. Other than that is was a very nice and quiet place if you want to get away from the noise of the other hotels that are closer to Angeles City.

    Serene atmosphere

    Overall, I liked my stay. For this vacation, I really had the quiet time I needed. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Location is okay, not very hard to find. Food at restaurant though is limited, I have to go the Koreatown streets. First, we booked a 2-room room/condo style for 5 days now . It's nice, spacious and with a balcony facing the hotel's front and pool bar. We felt very relaxed in this stay. Price rate is not cheap though. If I need a near escape from stress and noisy city, here's where I'll probably go.

    Terrible experience! Beware!

    The reason why we visited Pampanga is for us to enjoy this day, and we expect that we already have a reservation at Clark renaissance hotel, but unfortunately the front desk staff is not that good and telling us that we did not make any reservations for today (even though we called last Tuesday morning and Thursday to confirm some informations and make a reservations, bad thing is I wasn't able to ask for the girl's name.), that we cannot be able to get the deluxe room because it is clearly mentioned on the attached picture that deluxe is good for 2-4 persons and that they are telling us that it should be 2 adults and 2 children but as you can see it not stated on the image itself(and this promotional image was posted April 7, it's almost 2 months?!), plus the fact that the manager itself is not accomadating and while we are talking to her, she just turned her back at us (What kind of Customer service is that?!), and lastly while they are talking to us they are also talking in kapampangan (isn't that kinda rude?). They offered us to check in but in a different room called Family which is good for 4-6 adults for 4500 php with 2 buffet coupons or 4000 php without buffet coupons. As for compensation, for me, this is not enough. We waited for hours considering that we're from Cavite, because of this I contacted some friends, luckily Ms. Sheila Mae helped us (even though she's not really from Clark Renaissance Hotel) by explaining it to Ms. Dasuri (what we arw just asking is consideration with regards to the wrong information that they have on the FB page), however the last decision is still the same. As a compensation Ms. Sheila gave us free freak shakes even though Café renaissance and the hotel is a different management. We're very disappointed to the staff and the management, they should have accountability of their actions regardless if the person who posted this is already terminated or what. This is actually a misleading information. I hope this will not happen again to other guests. PS: Don't worry I will still send to Clark Renaissance Hotel the proof that I called at that time (They tried to check it on their call logs, but the front desk ladies told us that the cellphones that they have is being used by different people inside the hotel that's why they can't track it).

    Dissapointed

    Very dissapointed,for d price they charge is not worth it. Food is limited,not much selection,swimming pool kinda dirty, found a towel floating around d pool.This is my first time to visit this place,I heard a lot about this so I thought I'd tried. Dissapointed & not going back again.

    Disappointing

    PROS: Cheap and Free coupon for dinner CONS: Location is bad. However, that is not the worst of all. The rooms, I tell you, the rooms are horrible! When we first came in the room, it smelt of bleach. We thought, it's okay, maybe it was just cleaned. But then after a few hours, the room smelt like septic tank/canal. It will make you nauseous. It always smelt like someone took a dump. We called the reception a few times regarding this, they said to just open the faucet so the smell will disappear. It didnt work. Still smells like poop. About night time, the insects came inside our room through the balcony. it's like nightmare. Another thing, the stairs in the dinner buffet by the pool is very dangerous. it's slippery and very narrow, that's why my aunt slipped, causing her to have bruises. The hotel had to have her checked in a hospital. Thankfully, they paid for the hospital bills and medicines. Will definitely not recommend this place.
