  The location is quite near the station and the room was clean and new. However, we left a mobile phone in the room by accident one morning and when we returned at the end of the day it was missing. The front desk staff were not very helpful. They told us that they would check the next day but only made a record of it when we asked them to. They have no security officer. The floor supervisor assured us that she didnt see the phone but the hotel was reluctant to issue a statement. We had to persuade them. It was quite a strange and mysterious incident.

  Simple Hotel

  Simple and clean hotel. The staff at the reception were courteous but passive. Located very near to Hualien station. Dongdamen night market was just 15 min away. Cannot even recall what breakfast was like ..

  Another great visit...

  Classic City is our go-to hotel when we're visiting Hualien. The minute you step into the lobby, you feel like you're in a new place - it's quiet, cool, and calm. Check-in has always been efficient and we appreciate the free, onsite parking. Rooms are spacious, clean, and modern and are equipped with a hot water maker and tea and coffee (and locally made mochi!). Breakfast is included with your room and the dining room has both Western and Chinese options. The hotel seems to be in the middle of things; we enjoy walking the neighbourhood for dinner and shopping at the local grocery store. Absolutely no complaints with this place - we'll be back!

  7 Minutes Walking from Main Train Station

  Friendly and helpful service. We booked a King Bed room, modern and well furnished, above expectations, with lots of space inside the room. Location away from town centre but very handy to Hualien Train station which was ideal for us. Just 2 minutes walking to a large supermarket across the road. Highly recommended as the tour bus crowds are horrendous.

  Good location

  Very good location, 5 min on foot from train/bus station. Room is good enough, roomy, bathroom with shower. Breakfast is normal. There is free bicycle, so you can go to dongdamen night market, its 10-15 min. Recommended.
