  Lovely staff, clean rooms, terrible beds

  We knew we were going to a basic hotel, they make no false claims on the website but.... All the people staying at the hotel are Thomas Cook customers and so are more than likely to be British. Everyone we talked to at the hotel had the same complaint: the beds. It seems that the Greeks like a firm bed, yet no Greek stays at the hotel! The beds were very hard, the stone floor would be softer. We complained the first morning and were quite prepared to look for another place to stay. However, a mattress topper was provided which made the beds almost bearable. Don't get me started on the pillows! The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the hotel clean and tidy. We did have trouble with noise from drunken neighbours going on into the early hours of the morning, which the staff seemed unable/unwilling to do anything about them. The hotel is a good walk out of the town itself, but on the other hand it could be very quiet (apart from drunken neighbours). The pool is clean, and away from the road, there were almost enough sunbeds. We had unseasonably bad weather when we were there, which is not the hotel's fault, but it mad the fact there was nowhere comfortable to sit, when you couldn't have a lounger by the pool. There are only plastic chairs on the balcony in the rooms and we found ourselves choosing our restaurant to eat at, at night, based upon the quality of their seating!

  Couldnt stay here due to health risk

  My daughters and I spent a lot of time looking for a holiday within our budget, for the school holidays and in Corfu and we booked the domenico in January for a trip in August (should have been there now). Having done a lot of research and getting excited about our trip, just a few weeks before we were due to fly, we had a phone call saying that we could not stay here due to an outbreak of legionnaires disease! So although I cant leave a review on the facilities I can leave a review as a paying customer, warning others of the potentially fatal risk, as that is what tripadvisor is for.

  Its all Greek to me!

  This is a lovely hotel for so many reasons. Location - about 800m from the Main Street. Cleanliness - rooms are cleaned daily and the pool area is immaculate. Staff - friendly and helpful, Manillos in particular. Food - best chips in Sidari! The downsides, while there werent many, need to be noted. We had no room key until lunchtime on the second day due to an issue with our door lock and our first day being a Sunday - Greece doesnt operate on Sundays! The shower......unless you have 3 arms, using a shower where the hose doesnt attach to the wall is problematic! All in all, would we recommend people stay here? Absolutely!

  Nice stay in Sidari

  Quiet but very clean hotel a bit more far away from the beach but with a cool swimming pool. Friendly staff and rich breakfast with a delicious Greek yoghurt you definitely have to try. All in all a good option for a shorter or longer stay.

  Nice little Hotel, Great Staff

  Stayed here only last week for 7 nights, great little hotel with lovely staff. Menelaos. Maria, Mr, Andrew and Chef - all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Menelous carried our case to our room for us and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. Rooms were basic but clean, cleaned every day with fresh towels and sheets - the cleaning lady always had a smile on her face too. There was a friend of the owner staying there too who was also very friendly and made a point of talking to us. Menu was quite limited and when we asked if there was any fish on the menu as a special, the very next evening sea bream appeared with mussels cooked expertly by the chef!! Nice clean pool and sunbeds, not too noisy, nice location, easy walking distance to the local supermarkets, beach, restaurants and shops. Would definitely reccommend and would stay there again.
