  Boutique in the woods for the win

  Stay here if you are staying overnight. We stayed 2 given other travels. Many hotels are taking liberties with the word you see Boutique. This hotel does not. We stayed in one of the newer structures. The suite was clean, big and well appointed. All the staff was friendly and helpful. I could see some older guests struggling a little with dragging luggage across the bridge and grass. The one downside is the restaurant menu is limited and the food was not very good. Make sure you take the short walk to see the big waterfall at the end of the street. Pretty amazing access and views of the park.

  Absolutely LOVED Fenomen!!!

  We absolutely LOVED Fenomen! We stayed 2 nights in early October. Our room was super nice. They pay attention to all details when constructing this place. It is all top quality and we had everything we needed (including ice - yahoo!) We enjoyed cocktail/happy hour out on my sisters patio table. It was gorgeous. The breakfasts are to die for. Great selection of savory and sweet along with fresh fruit and it's displayed beautifully. The planted pathways around the property are so picturesque. I wish I could just pop back over for a solo retreat. It's definitely luxury in nature.

  Good spot for hikers

  This place really deserves 3-1/2 stars instead of 3. The drive was longer than expected from the park entrance - possibly 30 min. up a winding two-lane road. You park in a small gravel lot and check-in/reception is right there in a little cabin. If the receptionist/bellman is helping someone else, you'll have to wait a bit for him to come back. You can walk or be taken in a golf cart to your cabin. We were in a Deluxe Suite in a cabin with possibly four units. It was nice and spacious, a bit rustic, and had all the normal amenities. The bedroom was a little tight, but the bathroom was big enough for two. There was a tub/shower. We got there late in the afternoon so we didn't get to explore the grounds much, but it was attractive with flower-lined paths to the cabins and restaurant building, which looked like a ski chalet. The food was good, not great, and the service was very cheerful. A small, but tasty, breakfast buffet was included. While we weren't wild about the place, it's probably the nicest lodging in the area and a good spot if you're going to stay a couple nights and do some hiking.

  Great location, nestled in natural setting

  Fabulous location above the tallest waterfall. Four of us stayed in a spacious two-bedroom ground-floor suite with small sitting room, kitchen and dining area. It was clean and new-sh, but a bit oddly decorated, with scratchy gold pillows and curtains, which were unusual given the rustic setting. The staff were generally good, though a bit grumpy if you showed up early for breakfast and such. The restaurant was disappointing--tired, meh versions of duck, steak (no opportunity to select temperature/degree of doneness). Salmon was good except too salty. one member of our party liked the venison best. Breakfast omelet made to order probably the best thing I ate.

  Pleasant area, disinterested staff

  Nice area, very big apartment with dangerous attic but main rooms are good, nice fire set up and plenty of space. Very poor rude bar and restaurant staff, on multiple occasions, they couldn't be more disinterested, but nice rural/fresh air area.
