  Good facility in a .... bad location.

  Well let's face it, you cannot have a four point at that low a price if it were located in the center of Guilin. It takes about 60 minutes to reach downtown by car, 20 minutes to the airport, 40 minutes to the train station. Really nothing to do around the hotel. Breakfast is good but dinner is not. Beds are large but not too soft for westerner's taste. Good for business stay or drive-in.

  Muy buena opción cerca del Aeropuerto

  Nuestro vuelo llegaba entrada la noche así que optamos por esta opción, cerca del aeropuerto y no muy lejos del muelle de los Cruceros (aunque importante: la mayoría de las excursiones en crucero no recogen en este Hotel). La habitación era amplísima y súper confortable. Dispone de todos los servicios y utilities para relajarse en la habitación y descansar. El servicio de habitaciones funciona correctamente.

  The bathtubs mystery

  I like the 4Points at Lingu. The rooms are large, price is value and location ok. However one mystery I would like to share. They have very nice bathtubs, but no individual shampoo or shower gel. They only have in the shower the three large dispenser with shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. Here comes: habe they ever thought about it, if a guest takes a bath, how does he get the shampoo and shower gel from the dispenser to the tube? However, still good hotel to recommend in this area.

  Nice staff

  The hotel is in a newly developing area and good for people who dont want to stay at the city center. It is a bit off from the city however for us who just went to see the different sights in the region and only wanted to stay one evening in Guilin it was perfect. The hotel is clean and staff is very friendly, attentive and professional. I wanted to specially mention Boyle from the front desk. The hotel can be happy to have such a friendly and calm employee. He is extremely attentive, speaks well English and solution oriented. Maybe the chain will help him to build a good career in this industry. I also wanted to point out Tina from the restaurant who was nice and helpful when we arrived starving from the plane!

  Too far

  We booked this hotel because the reviews of the Sheraton in Guilin were so bad on TripAdvisor. We stayed here for two nights and then transferred to the Sheraton in Guilin. The Four Points hotel is very grand but totally shabby. Upkeep is terrible. The breakfast was terrible. Service at the breakfast was even worse than the food. The pool/jacuzzi/sauna not open or functioning. We then transferred to the Sheraton in Guilin. This hotel is undergoing reconstruction, but the hotel is much better. Hotel is a bit dated, but clean. Four points hotel is also too far from the city Guilin, not because distance, but terrible traffic. I do not recommend this hotel.
