  Special 'FX'!

  I loved our stay at FX Inn - it was 'inn-credbible' in fact. We stayed in a couple of different rooms over our four night stay (one a family room and one a suite) and both were excellent, impeccably clean plus all the mod cons you need including tea / coffee makers, a HDTV with lots of channels plus a good selection of toiletries - free laundry facilities too. The hotel feels very modern and all the rooms are well lit with ample plug points - all the staff (from the reception team to the breakfast team) were kind and courteous, plus the location is great - it is just 25 mins or so door to door from the airport if you are using the MRT plus a 10 minute walk to the LOVE river area, or the nearby tourist night market. When we return to Kaohsiung (as we liked the city so much), we would definitely stay at FX Inn again.

  Free Bicycle and rental electric bike available

  Solo traveller stayed 5 nights. 10 minutes' walk from hotel to love river. 15 minutes' walk to night market or you can take MRT city council station ride 1 station to Formosa station. If you are taking MRT to the hotel get off at city council station just 2 minutes' walk to the hotel. Google was wrong to led me to central park station, took me 15 minutes' walk. However, a lot of shops around that side of central park station but the hotel is located on the other side. You can borrow a bicycle from the hotel to ride around the central park and along the love river. Breakfast acceptable. The room I stayed had no window. Near new hotel with free washing and drying machines for guest. I am happy to stay at this hotel again.

  Overnight stay before going to airport next day

  Found this Hotel online for reasonable price. The location is rather good with the subway 3 mins walk from hotel. Is walking distance to Central Park and "Urban sportlight" which also have a interchange station there. From this hotel, 3-4 station away you can get to the shopping mall, walking distance to night market too Room is comfortable size, clean with necessary toiletries. Good for my stay and rest is good.

  Budget hotel, near mrt and can walk to Xinjuejiang

  Hotel met basic needs for the price and is accessible because its near the MRT. From the hotel, one can take a stroll to Liu He night market and XinJueJiang. Bed and pillows were comfortable and the toilet bowl has heating capability.

  Chic Hotel

  Modern chic hotel, stylish lobby which is nice for photos. Their room had a smart, modern sleek design whereby there is a movable partition to separate the bathroom area from the beds. However it was also abit inconvenient that the design of toilet and shower room is separate and both cannot be used at the same time as there was only 1 sliding door for either. It was also inconvenient to switch over. Some other observations: We like their big and clear tv Room is bright and furnishing feels new Location is walkable to / from Liu He Night Market. Take a casual stroll after feasting at the night market! They have a laundry room! Well equipped! What a pity we only realised it when we went upstairs for breakfast. Its free to use, and they even provides washing powder. Providing hand wash at basin is good, but it feels out of place as its a generic brand obviously purchased separately. The hotel can consider producing own labelled handwash. Water stained window in room 716, not sure if the stain is inside or outside but still dont look clean. Bed is a little too soft for our liking, but some may like it, but overall still comfortable sleep. Overall, recommend this hotel!
