    excelente relacion calidad-precio

    A relaxing and comfortable stay

I enjoyed my stay at the Golden Beach Appart Hotel from the 25th May until the 1st June 2019 with my children aged 11 and 12. I liked the Moroccan style decor of the building as this gave it a certain charm and homely, comfortable feeling. The hotel staff are an absolute credit and are always helpful. There was one night where a family in the room above was making a lot of noise with their shoes and I went down stairs and the staff on duty helpfully called up to the room and so the problem was sorted. The cleaners attend every single day to check whether you need your apartment to be cleaned and towels are changed daily. There is complimentary soap and shower gel. The restaurant food is delicious and the catering staff are sweet, charming and helpful. My son enjoyed the burger and chips, my daughter the pizza and we all thought the chicken Tagine was delicious. We had an amazing breakfast on the first morning that consisted of; 3 x fresh orange juice, 3 x hot chocolate, 3 x fried eggs, a basket of bread, pastries, olives, soft cheese and Moroccan flat bread all for around 11 Dinar, which is about £8. It would be difficult to find such a delicious breakfast at this price in London. The pool is always clean and wonderful, both myself and my children really enjoyed the pool and the chance to cool off. The lifeguard is polite and lovely and always ensures the pool area is kept clean and safe. My room was 312, and it was spacious and comfortable, and had a kitchenette that had all the basics to prepare breakfast and a few lunch and dinner meals, although we did eat about 50% of the time in restaurant. Next to the hotel there is a small shop where you can stock up on some basic items, eggs, bread, juice, water, biscuits, oil etc. The shop keepers at the hotel were so lovely and helpful, and even took the time to show me how to top up my Moroccan sim card with credit as it is totally different to how we do it in the UK. Golden beach is just a stones throw away from the beautiful beach, and there are plenty of shops just a short stroll away. You can take a taxi to Marjane which is the big supermarket for about 10 dinar which is less than a pound in an orange taxi and about 20 dinar back with your shopping. There are always plenty of taxis available, I always just asked up front what the price would be to avoid any miscommunication. I enjoyed taking a walk along the beach in the early morning and looking out for the vendor that sells fresh fruit at an absolute bargain. There is plenty of excursions available from Agadir and plenty of things to do in Agadir also. We took the trip to Paradise valley for the day, with the tour of the Argan centre, lunch and fresh fruit included and also the tour of Agadir. You can ask the hotel staff about day trips and activities. The hotel is situated in a tourist district and so there are many people only a short walk from the hotel who are offering to sell you things. Normally you can just politely decline and they will walk away, sometimes you might have to say no thanks a few times. However this reflects how hard working the locals are and they are very business minded as they have to work hard to make a living. Overall I had a wonderful stay at Golden Beach and it was the lovely base to relax and explore the region of Agadir. I would return to Golden Beach and I would recommended this Appart hotel. I wish all the hotel staff well and thank you for making my stay enjoyable.

We werent going Agadoo in Agadir unfortunately

The apartment itself is lovely, very comfortable and cleaned every day plus the staff are helpful. Be aware as supermarket advertised next to the hotel isnt somewhere you can buy anything for a meal and being self catering this is a bit of a problem.... nearest supermarket is 30 mins walk away. You have three restaurants within 2 mins walk but you never see anyone in them. We tried the Indian restaurant and must say the curry was the best Ive tasted, nan bread made from scratch. Being here you are a good 15/20 mins away from the main cafes and restaurants although only two mins from beach. Sea is quite dangerous with a strong under current so if you have small children the pool would be the safest option. Looki looki men constantly bug you when led on beach as they do when walking along too. The place is lifeless as nobody around in the town maybe because the big hotels have taken it over with the all inclusive? We did find a lovely little restaurant called La Lampara about halfway up the main strip which served reasonably priced lager and meals great too. I can personally recommend the carbonara and pizzas! Staff are lovely one of them even picked flowers for a vase for our table whilst hubby watched the footie lol probably felt sorry for me. They will put on whatever game you require and much nicer than the British Pub. After sampling a fair few tagines we thought we would try the restaurant in the hotel does an excellent royal burger as we couldnt be bothered one night to go out. Im glad I have come to Morocco and experienced the Atlas Mountains and Marrakesh along with all the other little trips and the locals are so lovely but I wouldnt come back here.

    Nice and relaxing

For a cheap budget holiday this hotel was one of the best hotels I've stayed in. For a nice quiet area, The staff were very nice, friendly, acomidating and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels. We stayed in room 405 and the sunset from the bowlcony was amazing. Buffet Breackfast was nice but could have done with extra fruit. As you can't ní buy bread from the on site shop we did ask for bread to take with us and they did give. For my first time in morocco it was very overwhelming but after the first few days we didn't want to come home. When you get to the airport I would advise you NOT TO change any money until you get to a atm or the hotel. When you go outside to get your taxi be a were of the porter boys/men that will grab your caces, they don't work for the airport and will demand money from you. We booked a return taxi with GETTRANSFER for only 34. Book your tours at the hotel as they will be cheaper and more private. Our first tour was the jeep safari witch was amazing and only 6 on the coach. We also done the city tour with just the 2 of us and our guide who gave us time to look around the souk el ahad. The marrakesh tour however wasn't great as you don't have time to take it all in or to stop, look or buy. We found the guide himself very ignorant and you can tell he was on commission. Next time we will rent a car so we can spend more time there.

    Comfy and welcoming holiday experience

Comfortable apartment with all the basics if you wanted to eat in. The price, quality, service and choice of the breakfast in the restaurant, including freshly squeezed orange juice and made to order omelettes, were particularly good. Reception staff were very helpful. We took advantage of the laundry service for a couple of shirts and they were back within hours. Pool area relaxing with pool towels offered within minutes of us arriving. A gem of a find
