  7th Visit

  Visited this wonderful hotel for the 7th consecutive year in September and very lucky and grateful to have made it here as literally just 2 hours after landing at Dalaman airport, Thomas Cook ceased trading. I've left previous reviews on the hotel so I'll try and be quick with this one. Travelled with family and friends. We had a really really good time yet again, even with the few negatives below, we plan to book again for Oct 2020 Food is outstanding, well presented and 1st class, there's genuinely something for all tastes, including a diet section too! If you're a veggie then you're spoilt for choice, though I have to add not everything is labelled correctly that contains meat. Rooms, restaurants, toilets, lobbys all kept clean, though this year the upkeep around the pool area during the day wasn't as good as previous years probably because hardly any bins present however this wasn't a major issue. During our time here, guest numbers diminished due to Thomas Cooks demise but this didn't deter the animation team from continuing with their excellent work full of enthusiasm and encouraging guests to join in with poolside games. Over the years we've got to know several of the animation team and I have to say they're wonderful people, they mingle and chat with guests and their English is really good. As much as i really like the animation team, their part in the evening entertainment could be better, it's repetitive, in fact the whole structure and evening entertainment format and acts needs to be looked at, this is the only thing that isn't good that the hotel provides, this is just my opinion and others might love the entertainment in the evening. Tania, the guest relations manager, is a lovely lady, she always has time for everyone and listens despite the pile of work that had mounted in connection with Thomas Cook. I can't put my finger on it but this hotel makes us feel good and probably why so many guests are returning customers. Already looking forward to next year 2020

  ok but not great.

  location of hotel was everything you could wish for,a nice walk into marmaris centre along the road with shops and bars,or beach front stroll.boat trips for about 15 pound pp, good day out.bus costs 4tl into ichmella which is worth doing. the hotel was ok but the food was not great,not much choice,all drinks served in paper cups or plastic apart from meal times,not good.balcony in room tiny,1 at a time on it.maid every day cleaned,very good,staff ok but not over freindly,maybe end of season blues.back to marmaris next year, but not to this hotel

  Our best holiday ever

  This hotel is honestly the best place we have ever stayed. It's not perfect in any sense but the pros far out weight the cons. We travelled as a group of 3 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. Food A massive selection, our 9 year old is pretty fussy yet always found something to eat. Breakfast you have the choice of fried food, breads, cereals, omlettes, pancakes, yogurts and more. Only issue we found is not enough fried eggs but they were soon topped up and the baked beans weren't to our taste. They don't serve bacon or the sausages you will get in the UK, but we expected this. We tried lunch in both the upstairs restaurant and the buffet area outside. If you are after the quick and easy pizza and chips stick to the buffet area. The restaurant is more the rice, chicken and other meats. We were extremely happy with both and never had issues. Dinner is a different theme every night. Only night we found difficult was sea food night but that's due to us not being massively keen on seafood. There is a separate kids buffet every evening too. Location We found the location ideal, it's not smack bang in the middle of Marmaris but it's walking distance. We found plenty of shops within a 5 minute walk. There was even a migros and McDonald's literally seconds down the road. This hotel is close to the beach but again it's not right on the beach. Rooms We had slight issues with the room when we arrived. We were given a double room which was tiny especially when we had the travel cot in. We upgraded rooms for a small fee of £60 and was extremely happy with the 2 bedroom room we were given. It was cleaned every day and the cleaners were polite. Fridges topped up with juice and water a couple of times a week, which pleased my 16 month old as he loved the juice. Staff This is where this place out does itself. All staff we encountered were amazing. The bar and waiting staff work tirelessly all day and you never once hear them moan. Any issues we had the reception staff sorted out immediately. Entertainment This is the best bit about this hotel. The whole animation team made not only ours but our children's holiday. They fell in love with our youngest and would always pop over to wherever we were for a quick cuddle with him. They always included our eldest in all the children's game. We often had them sat with us for dinner in the evening too. Special shoutouts to Nino, Yohan and Ali. We loved this place so much that we have booked to return next year with extended family and are even looking at booking a 2nd time next year. Looking forward to being back and seeing everybody in April.

  Great place

  Lovely hotel We are a family of four inc two young children. Kids club was on a first come first served basis. Entertainment was the usual fare ie kids disco bingo etc. and food was great. Bar was open 11.00 -23.30ish. There is a nightclub on site but that's not included on the all inclusive deals Downside the room was tiny and the boys beds were just the sofas with bedding over them. Location was 300m from the beach and town was easily reached.

  We've been to sun connect ideal prime for years it's a fantastic hotel food amazing and very good service all round and very clean we will always go here when we go to turkey You are so close to getting into marmaris and the harbour so cheap to jump in and out of taxis are girls love turkey and have made some good friends over the years night life is brilliant for us
