  Agradable pero con acceso no tan simple al centro

  El hotel dispone de habitaciones espaciosas, algunas con vistas al patio interno y pileta. Tiene un bar y comedor (la atención del mismo deja bastante que desear). EL personal de recepción es muy agradable. Ofrece un traslado ida y vuelta a la playa (Dr Cave's Beach) ya que el acceso a la misma no es muy cómodo. Debido a la zona donde está ubicado, es imprescindible moverse en taxi, al menos durante la noche, por mas que sean unas pocas cuadras.

  Yo me quede de corta estancia, ya que al día siguiente me movería a ocho rios, el hotel no es práctico si quieres ir a explorar la isla, los cuartos están viejos y ruidosos. en el mapa parece estar cerca de la playa pero no lo está, está en la montaña, y la vista es buena, pero si se te hace tarde en la playa es indispensable tomar un taxi porque el camino no parece ser seguro (a menos que traigas rastas y vayas fumando un extraño cigarrillo) y tienes que tener mucho cuidado con el taxi que elijas, ya que hay muchos taxis piratas...

  Business and Family

  Initially I was concerned with the room, fixtures and lack a few amenities in the room and around the hotel. I observed that there was refurbishment underway and had an opportunity as a Travel Consultant to preview what the rooms will look like when all rooms are completed and I was blown away. I definitely plan too stay at the Grandiosa on my next trip to Jamaica. I am heaping praises on the Front Desk ladies, the Housekeeping staff and the security men. They all have done an excellent job despite the construction around them. BIG Thank you to Marsha, Kayon and Grace at the front desk, Jeanice in House keeping and Stuartin Security for all you did to make my stay comfortable., I will be back.

  Not a place to stay in latter 2019 to mid 2020

  I stayed there for 10 days, only because we had a rental car and we were able to leave the hotel for most of the day when construction and renovations were taking place. If we wanted to stay inside because we did not want to venture it was very difficult to hear the television or the phone, Evenings were quiet and so were Sundays. The kitchen was out of bounds because of the renovations, and the bar had limited drink choices, but they will call up a local restaurant to get breakfast delivered for you. While renovations are taking place, you can only get WiFi in reception and that is intermittent. When we came in of an evening, there were flat insects gravitating to the front door and if you hit them, they would drop flat to the ground, some would occasionally fly off.. they would find their way underneath the bottom of the door. It is reasonably well placed - 5 minutes drive from the airport - you could actually walk it. I guess you get what you pay for.. it was a very cheap deal, which I guess offset the inconvenience for us. I would imagine that when it is finished, it will be beautiful, but for now, it's best to hold off until the new year, when they reckon the works will be completed. I would stay there again.. I endured the 10 nights, when maybe others would not, but that was because we were not fixated on our phones. WiFi was only integral for me when I needed to make a bank transfer, and at that point it worked!

  Quiet good place to stay very clean and the front desk staff are very nice i hope the renovation will be finish soon . Then i can enjoy it more. Thanks to everyone at Grandiosa Montego Bay see you soon.
