  Hotel sencillo, de paso.

  Se trata de un hotel muy sencillo, sólo para pasar una noche si se está en viaje hacia otras ciudades alemanas. La habitación era bonita, pero muy elemental. El desayuno no es bufet, sino que te sirven lo mìnimo en la mesa. Tiene algunas contras muy importantes: la recepciòn cierra a determinada hora (averiguar en internet porque no recuerdo exactamente a qué hora) y si llegás despuès de esa hora simplemente dormís afuera porque no hay quien haga el check in. Por otra parte, no tiene ascensor, así que se complica mucho subir por escalera con valijas pesadas. Si es domingo, no se puede encontrar ningún lugar donde comer, ya que no hay nada cerca, y los pocos restaurantes que hay están cerrados los domingos. Hay que alejarse bastante para poder encontrar un restaurante abierto; tuvimos la suerte que camino al Castillo encontramos una tratoría italiana donde almorzamos y cenamos muy bien.

  Very Good

  Stayed in March 2017 for 1 night in triple room. Nice cosy room, clean linen, excellent breakfast. But far from the centre of Friedrichshafen. Need a car\taxi to get to the centre. It was the most cheap accomodation on these dates. Recommended.

  Great breakfast, terrible wifi

  This is a strange little hotel... the only way to get in is to press a call button and speak with a mysterious voice in a remote location. It seems like such a system could have serious pitfalls, but it worked well enough for our stay. Parking is very limited and many of the guests who arrived before us did an abysmal job at fitting their vehicles properly into spaces. Thankfully we were able to grab the last spot. Beds in the room were comfy, shower was serviceable, and breakfast was really tasty with many great offerings. The unforgiveable sin of this hotel is the atrocious wifi. It didn't work at all in our room (no signal) for the duration of our stay, so we had to make do with sitting in the stairwell and utilizing the weak service there. The location is also not very good, I would only recommend staying here if you have a car as the public transit links appeared to be limited.

  A small cosy hotel

  This hotel is located in a quiet residential area, about 30min walk to the main train station and lake Constance. The airport is 5min taxi ride away. The entire property is carefully and tastefully decorated; its feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel as there are only 8 rooms and staff is very welcoming. I found everything spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet had delicious fresh readrolla, cold cuts, cheeses, jams, spreads and more on offer. The room and bathroom were spacious and had hairdryer and a fan. Windows could stay open all night for fresh air. However, I would have expected an a/c at the room rate paid.

  Rude and unfriendly staff

  The hotel is not really a hotel. It is more of an unattended set of rooms. You press a buzzer at the door to check in, never actually meeting a person. But that all works well and the rooms are very nice and quiet. It is staffed in the morning for breakfast. The problem is the staff. My wife booked and pre-paid the room. On checkout I returned my keys and headed to my car. The hotel clerk chased me down and said I did not pay. I was very embarrassed and said my wife had done so. She said no and did not really treat me all that nice. When I got home, my wife checked and indeed we had pre-paid the room. We called the hotel and they refused to admit this. We wrote an email which was never answered. We had to call the service that booked our room and they took care of it and called us back and said yes, you did prepay and the hotel was wrong and we were refunded our original payment. And we never received any kind of apology from this hotel.
