  Run Down Disgrace

  This the most unclean run down property in fifty years of travelling we have ever stopped in; air conditioner not working, mound throughout flat ( not an apartment), filthy carpets , and swimming pool clean water in a muddy river. It took us 40 minutes just to check in they required copy of driver licence, Medicare card as well of credit card never ever overseas had to provide this level of information. Would NOT recommend staying at this property. Absolutely No customer service or cleaning or maintenance of this property.

  An absolute disgrace. Should not even have one star.

  There is absolutely nothing redeeming to say about this place. Resort - what a joke. The beautiful glistening pool you see on the website was actually green when I was there with a group of work colleagues last Sunday. The rooms were disgusting. The first rooms they showed us had not had room service, the next room they showed me had stains on the floor carpet and the bed coverlet, stains on the sheet and something that looked like it came out of a nasal passage on the pillow case. The grout in the shower recess was dirty, there were no beside lamps (as depicted in the images on the website), there was graffiti on the bedside table in the unit and around the site, The hotel did not have our bookings when we arrived. We were not even allowed to use a toilet while we tried to sort out the booking (took over four hours). In the time we were at the 'hotel' the police were in attendance! People who looked like they were 'residents' there were openly smoking dope. I could not with any conscience recommend anyone even considering this property. Please review photos that attest to this review. I am nothing if not 100% honest.

  i'm d neighbor

  arguing, fighting, screaming, creeping, drunk and slaming door everyday. i've never had a quiet day 3years. always suspecious people who are active at late nite living. looks and sounds like prison. i heard more than 10times of F word today, already. punks kicked out every week after big arguings. but new prisonor come every week. noisy riot day never ends. it's true. i saw one punk kicked out today, too. own home page is disappeard because of too much complains.

  Read the reviews before booking... Broken lights, broken shower screen, chipped tiles to cut your feet on, broken TV, broken A/C. VERY dirty, blood stains on pillows etc, smells like smokes inside, doors don't close properly, curtains are shocking. Drug deals going on at all hours. Girls of the night/working girls coming and going at all hours. Heaps of noise, from the above (druggies and hookers) And the HIGHLIGHT, very RUDE staff, especially the manager/owner. The 'resort' policy is NO check in after 4pm, haha... It's a motel/resort but can't check in after 4pm... That's funny. AVOID THIS PLACE - You can def find better around

  Good improvements - glad we went back.

  Previously stayed at Harbour Side Resort in 2019/2020 for work - suited my budget. Good location - Southport business district, international schools, Gold Coast hospital, Broadwater for early morning walks. Complex bit noisy from tenants disturbing the peace........ Returned February 2021 to holiday with family. Surprised at the changes that have been made. The two-bedroom unit we stayed in was clean, large comfy beds, everything we needed in the kitchen for our weeks stay. More peaceful with families enjoying the pool and spa. Love the Broadwater beach, parks and cafes just across the road. Glad we gave Harbour Side anything chance.
