  Looks decent on sites, but actually average

  Its located 4 kms from market and railway station. But for small city like alwar it is located in middle of nowhere. Nothing around the hotel. And it is an 8 floor building with in-house restaurant. But it seemed it must be excellent when newly built but now has lost its glory. Reception was decent. They upgraded my room. Room had view of aravali hills. But entire hotel was empty(gave a feeling of emptiness). Even they are renovating the first floor to convert that part of the hotel into shops. Breakfast was pretty decent. AC was not functioning. We complained but no response even after 2.5 hours. We re-complained and then in another half hour AC started working. But the place is safe.

  The Hotel is going Bad to Worse. Last year is was below average , this year it is just a Hotel. The Rooms ate Big but the Linen, Towels , Upkeep is just about terrible. The Food is below average. The BF is just passibale. Suggest go some where else if the Rate they Charge you is above 1800/ per night. Look out for a better Hotel

  Good for one day stay.

  Rooms were decent, clean, with AC rooms. If you are hygiene sensitive carry your own towels and shampoo. Good parking space. Entry by car a bit tricky. Swimming Pool was under construction. Nothing around the hotel, one has to travel a distance of 3-4 kilometer for any market place. Hotel is right on road. Reception was decent. But entry to the floors gave a feeling of emptiness.

  NICE STAY

  Hotel Hive is situated in Alwar, look is like a Guest House. I have visited this property with 4 families on New Year, rooms were not ready at the time of check in, everything committed was not up to the mark. Lighting in the rooms & lobby was not proper. Foods was good but service was slow.

  Just Simply a Hotel

  I stayed in Hive Alwar Hotel with my spouse just for one night on 4th Dec. this year on the way to Heritage tour of Alwar- Gwalior-Khajurao-Jhansi-Orchha. The hotel is good and the room is neat and clean. It is well equipped with all the basic needs. Complimentary WI-FI is also available and there is no problem on loading the photos on line. The weakness of the hotel is its staffs. The service of Reception was worst. Even the bell boys were also not good. All the staffs were not well trained. My hotel plan was CPAI. When we were leaving hotel at morning the receptionist asked to pay breakfast bill. I requested him to see hotel voucher sent by my tour agent. Only after then uneasily he accepted our complimentary breakfast. The Lobby is not so decorated. On an average it is just simply a hotel where we could not get homely atmosphere.
