  Overall a satisfactory stay

  We stayed one night there. Pros: The hotel staff called to pre-arrange the check in. The rooms are comfy and clean. The pool looks nice, though none of us went swimming. Area for improvement: the breakfast is mediocre. The gym is a bit too small.

  It's ok, clean and comfortable but still overpriced for what it is.

  Good: after 16 hrs of terrible traffic this was the first place we came to. Quick check in with no reservations and the room was clean, beds comfortable and pillows were perfect. Breakfast was ok. Not so good: I think I interrupted the desk clerks movie but he did check me in quickly from the comfort of his chair. They should stand and greet guests with a smile. Someone was smoking a lot of weed on the 4th floor over night. We had a pretty good contact high on our way for breakfast. Place is a little overpriced for what it is. It is more of a $150ish/night kind of place and not $250. In their defence I did ask for a govt or AAA discount and he said he didn't but would give me the room for $200 ($230) with taxes a d the free high on the way to breakfast.

  Clean, good price

  Clean, good price. Best eggs & other breakfast items, attendant was amazing! Horrible wifi, beds with old springs. Sink in bthrm, slippery shower pan, towel rack falling off wall. Overall worn. Avoid Chili's poor service, long wait for drink refills, asked for no onions & mustard on burger yet received both.

  This Holiday Inn puts holiday in Holiday Inn.

  We were checked in by a adorable and sweet young lady, our room was spotless. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and in perfect working order. Great stay, great hotel, awesome staff. We were in Milford to visit family, so it was really nice to have great family time and then be able to go back to the hotel and relax in a really nice room. We have stayed over the years in most of the hotels in Milford and this ranks at the top. Just a great place with really nice people working there. Well lit and safe parking lot.

  If not happy with room, switch room early

  Prior to going I read reviews which were good and some that were bad. So upon entering the room, I remembered a post indicating there were hair in the bed sheets. When I checked, there were some hair. I brushed it off and assumed hotel had bad laundy facilities. It was late and I didn't want to go to another room. The TV didn't work which was first time ever happen in a hotel. I called and someone came three times and finally had to mickey mouse it with two remotes. Also I heard someone complained about no hot water. One day it was hot then turn warm. Another day it was cold water and had to wait 30 seconds before warm water came. Again I attributed to the poor water heater system in hotel. Hotel said they could switch rooms for the lady who didn't have hot water. With my TV not working for 2-3 days, hotel rep offer to switch me to another room. Seems like their easy solution is switching rooms which for me was very inconvenient so I tolerated it. Also, house cleaning comes early in the morning. One day when I stayed in my room til noon, house cleaning never came. Oh well, no tip.
