  Comfort and security when we needed it most

  We were displaced from our home due to a tornado. The entire team at Homewood Suites made sure we had everything we needed during a traumatic time. They treated us so well over our 2 week plus stay. Everyone working there was great, particularly Clayton, Trey, Kenneth, Clarissa, Amie, and their supervisors. The hotel is so comfortable and steps from shopping, restaurants, and Whole Foods.

  Amazing Hospitality!!!

  I've been the AGM at my hotel for three years. With that being said, I know and understand the importance of exceptional hospitality. The staff was awesome. I arrived a bit early. I was greeted by Ms. Aimee while waiting in the lobby. She was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable during my brief wait. I booked two rooms and had a transportation error with the guest that was staying in my second room. I was overly worried that my friend would have difficulty with her check-in process. Ms. Aimee assured me that everything would be ok and that she would personally handle the situation. I immediately felt at ease. My friend arrived hours later and checked in with absolutely no hassle... I am very well pleased with my stay from beginning to end. The hotel supervisor and manager were great as well. Clayton took time out of his busy schedule to assist me on several phone calls leading up to my arrival. And the manager was very assertive in making sure that things were perfect during my check-in. I know that my early arrival could have very well been an inconvenience. However, I was not made to feel as such. I really appreciate the hospitality. That is what superb customer service is all about. TWO THUMBS UP!!!

  Great location but housekeeping needs more training

  I live in Charlotte but needed to be out of my home for the weekend so I chose this hotel for myself and my daughters. I visited before booking to make sure it was clean and as described. Charity at the front desk was extremely friendly and professional and showed me a room upon request. I later made a reservation for the weekend. The location is excellent in terms of being centrally located to restaurants and grocery stores if needed. Also shopping at Southpark Mall which is walking distance. The outdoor pool is also really nice. Unfortunately, upon check in as we got settled I noticed that the sleeper sofa mattress cover was filthy and stained in various areas. I called the front desk and the young lady who checked me in was very apologetic and sent someone up right away. Someone from housekeeping came and changed the mattress cover but after she left I noticed even more things that hadnt been cleaned (the fridge interior, the bathtub, etc). So I called again. This time the housekeeping manager came up along with 2 other employees. I didnt get her name, but I appreciated her coming to actually see the condition of the room. They cleaned everything to my satisfaction and the next morning when I asked that my room be vacuumed the housekeeping manager actually had it cleaned and inspected it herself before we returned. The housekeeping staff definitely needs more training, especially considering the current environment we live in, but my rating is based on the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to make the situation right.

  Good Except for the COVID-19 Realities

  This Homewood Suites is in a building shared with a Hilton Garden Inn. Nice parking garage right next to the main building. Due to the pandemic, guests of either hotel are directed to the Hilton Garden Inn lobby. While that is no problem (since the elevators for Homewood Suites are just around the corner), the usual amenities and services one expects from Homewood Suites were not available as that property's lobby, snack shop, and food area were closed. Hopefully, things will return to normal sooner than later so that guests hoping to enjoy the normal Homewood Suites experience can do so. As for our room, it was very nicely furnished and served us well during our weekend stay. The bed was comfortable as was the sofa. Would stay here again in spite of the pandemic-related issues because the hotel is close to many good shopping and dining options.

  Fantastic hotel

  My daughter and I stayed here after I had surgery. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I stayed comfortable and had everything I needed. The shuttle drivers were awesome! The breakfast was great! We will definitely stay here again.
