  Excellent food pleasantly served

  Went for dinner last night there were three tiers of table d'hote menu all with really interesting dishes. My wife had sea bass fillet and I had Pike. The service was quick and the food good the wine list was extensive with lots of local wines at reasonable prices. After the meal we were left alone chatting to others in the restaurant, absolutely no pressure to leave. Well worth another visit.

  Great authentic French cuisine

  We came at rec of our host and it was delicious! We tried the smoked duck and salmon along with seafood soup for appetizers. Then the duck and beef for dinner entree. Dessert we tried the sampling plate and the cheese with salad. All wonderfully prepared and great servers.

  Excellent Food.

  We stayed overnight on our way to the Channel ports.Basic but clean room,very comfortable bed,excellent shower-very good value for the room.We chose the 22 euro menu,and had a top-class meal of duck salad,,entrecôte steak and creme brûlée.The local Champigny wine was very good value in a pichet.There was a slight misunderstanding about check-out times,but that was resolved without any problem.An excellent Logis hotel,if you need one in this area.

  Buen sitio para comer y dormir. No AIRCO

  Si quieres pagar poco y tener buena calidad a los alrededores de SAUMUR, este es una buena opción, siempre y cuando no haga calor (no tiene aire acondicionado) Buen precio, baño amplio e iluminado. Habitacion grande. 3 enchufes, buen internet y calefacción. Tiene escritorio para trabajar y hay plaza de parking alrededor del hotel.

  Lived up to Recommendation

  We were staying close by and took a recommendation to eat here. We were very glad we did, the food was excellent, service very good and wine enjoyable. The food was all authentic French and so it should be, it was cooked very well and really enjoyed it. The prices were very good. Our French isn't fantastic, but our server managed to understand us with her English being slight better than our French. We had a really nice chat with the hotel manager on the way out ( his English was very good), he was very helpful and made some suggestions of places to visit while in the area.
