  Excellent Restaurant, Top Quality in Hotel Aleksandar

  Great compliments for highly professional management and impressive organisation of the restaurant in Hotel Aleksandar. Delicious, tasty food and drinks, variety in choices, fresh, healthy ingredients, undoubtedly meet top standards. Restaurant personnel, waiters, cooks and support staff are overall oriented to ultimate guests' satisfaction. They are all very kind, helpful and service oriented. Wishing this exemplary team to keep up with outstanding performance, as that is the way to have guests back.

  Hotel, Food, Staff = Great Time

  The Hotel Aleksander is more of a small village of low rise 2 story buildings , with bars, a couple of restaurants and mini markets. It is immaculately maintained and has a very welcoming feel about the place, in a great location with the beach and plenty of other shops bars and restaurants a 5/10 minute walk away. Check-in was quick with information and a small map to assist you while you get your bearings of the place. The recently refurbished rooms were spotless and well maintained by the excellent house keepers. In the rooms you had plenty of storage, TV, free shower/shampoo, free safety deposit box in the wardrobe and our room had a big balcony overlooking the courtyard swimming pool. We were on a B&B basis but there are guests who were all inclusive but I don't think this is available to British guests booking from the UK. The food at breakfast was really good. Plenty of choice, always being topped up, an omelette station and the staff were attentive to guests needs, clearing tables etc. You could also pay 10 euros each to dine for lunch or dinner if you preferred. We did this once for dinner and were equally impressed with the quality and choice of food available. Outside there are a few swimming pools, the courtyard one is the quietest, and the main one with childrens pool the busiest, but it is still quiet with plenty of space and sunbeds.This is were all the animation takes place run by a great guy called Ivan, in fact all the staff we met were extremely friendly and professional. To summarise, a great hotel with good food and great staff, we would highly recommend a stay at this hote (village).

  Nice hotel, but view horrible!

  The staff is incredibly friendly, the hotel is newly remodeled and its just steps from the beach. However our view was of a parking lot. Thankfully were not often in our room, but when we are it puts a major damper on our vacation. The hotel is humongous, with bars, shops and apparently year-round apartments. One pool is still open and its within walking distance to Old Town and the city. For the price, its a good hotel, but the view is depressing.

  Jewel on the coast

  I am definitely partial to hotels which are located by the beach. I was blown by the hotel grounds and the small-town feel. Surely people come in droves here during the season, in June it wasnt that packed and you could easily find peace and quiet. The rooms were great and so was the buffet. The only drawback was that were there only for 1 night and had to leave the next day. Still, we managed to go to the beach - undoubtedly a sight for sore eyes as well as to have a night stroll to the old city. I would happily come back here for holidays.
