  Served its purpose well.

  Very warm and friendly welcoming hotel. Traveled with group of motorcyclists, bikes given secure parking in garage the other side of the street. Rooms clean and functional, mine was a bit small and pokey but others said that their rooms were great so maybe check it out when you book. Food served in the restaurant was home cooked, traditional and great value.

  A pleasant stay

  Just arranged a 3 night stay demi pension for a group of 13 motorcyclists. Very welcoming and with secure parking for the bikes in garage nearby. The host Valerie and Christophe were very hospitable nd ensured our stay was enjoyable. rooms clean and spacious, everybody enjoyed them selves and La Bourboule is a nice town. although a bit quiet in the evening, a group of us went out at 10pm on a Saturday night and only 1 bar in town was still open. Indoor swimming pool and Jaccuzi was welcome

  An good visit

  Recently spent 2 nights, midweek, in the low season (January). Very well situated in the town near the railway station (But very little noise or traffic) and handy for a walk around town. A lovely welcome from the Proprietors for whom nothing was too much trouble. They would remove covers from pool if we wanted to swim had all local info to hand and laid out a lovely buffet breakfast for us each morning. Dining room was closed so we had to eat out each night with varied success (see other reviews). Something we were not aware of before arriving was that the ski-bus to the Sancy ski area, although stops just outside, DOES NOT RUN on weekdays low season so it was a short drive to Le Mont-Dore to connect with that. Not a great issue though. We loved the small pool and Jacuzzi and the charm of the hotel although it was lacking in atmosphere as we appeared to be the only guests there midweek. Maybe the town is more lively in Summer?
