  Lovely traditional hotel in an attractive village

  Our first overnight stop after a long journey was an excellent way to start the holiday. We stayed here many years ago and it was good then so we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. The bedroom in the new extension was traditionally furnished and our bathroom was modern and efficient. The terrace is a lovely spot for a drink in the shade. There is a charming panelled dining room and the service for dinner was excellent.

  Goed hotel!

  Been here with my girlfriend. It was a stop for a day to sleep there, so we could move on the next day to our official vacation place. We had a beautiful blue room, with a beautiful lightning. We also went out for dinner there, lovely food for a good price. Lots of things to do. We played pool for a few long hours! It's very central from everything. Reception service 10/10. They helped us with everything.

  Charmant hotel/restaurant

  We stayed here on our way down the south. Room was very French with a good bed and a pretty (new?) bathroom. We just missed a hook for the shower and a showercurtain. The restaurant was very tasteful with a lovely lady in the service who gave great advice. Its not cheap but worth it! Compliments for the chef. A great way to start our holiday.

  Expensive and Uncomfortable

  Our room faced the front of the hotel and although the shutters had been closed the room was too hot to sleep in, with no air conditioning or fan. Woken at 5.45am, after very little sleep by deliveries being wheeled over the cobbles outside. Requested a fan from the manager, but nothing was available for our second night, so we purchased our own to use in the room. The biggest shock was the overpriced continental breakfast and drinks. 10 per head for breakfast, while a bottle of Evian was 6 , beer 7.50 while a gin and tonic was a massive 12!! Our B & B bill (excluding drinks) was 236 for 2 nights of uncomfortable, hot and unpleasant stay.

  Charming and clean

  We stayed in the hotel during our trip from London to Rome. The hotel is perfect to explore the region. The building is an old inn in the middle of a quite and enchanted village. The room was well decorated and the bathroom was extremely clean. The only concern was about the bed, absolutely uncomfortable and small.
