Excellent location, friendly staff, clean rooms

The hotel is right in the center of town, the staff was friendly, and rooms were clean and fairly spacious. Parking was easy (low season) as there's a small lot next door and another one about a 10min walk away. Perhaps slightly overpriced for what it is, but we'd stay here again if we return to Quiberon, as the location can't be beat.

tiny and basic room - even though we were offered a wonderfull sea view room ! There was no hot (or even lukewarm water ) when we informed the reception, we were told ( we did put a note in the lift about this ) After asking when this was put up we were told - after you booked in !!!! We were charged for breakfast which we did not ask for as we booked room only, and had to return to get this deducted. All in all - a very average hotel with poor customer service, and not very cheap for an average hotel. Much better deals in town. We would not recommend this place.

    Sleepless in Quiberon.

Although I am only awarding this hotel a one star review (and would possibly lessen this if possible), I would however recommend it to those with hearing disabilities, or possibly insomnia. The reason for this is that while the hotel itself is perfectly presentable as a three star hotel, for anyone of average hearing ability, it is totally impossible to sleep there. This is particularly the case for the rooms at the back of the hotel as I cannot speak for the more expensive rooms at the front. I had read previous online reviews of the hotel (but unfortunately only after my partner had booked it). My partner had requested a Seaview room at the front but unfortunately we were able to be allocated this by the management. I called the hotel two days prior to our arrival and when I mentioned that we were hesitant in staying in a room at the back due to the reviews online, I was told by the receptionist that she had never received any complaints about this in the time that she had worked there. Based on my own recent experience, I find this hardly credible and possibly deceitful. I however, can truthfully report that what is said in other reviews about the terrible sound insulation between the rooms is 100% correct. What is also said about the enduring nocturnal mono beat noise from the club opposite the back of the hotel, is also 100% correct. I have no complaints about the room itself, or the bed or bathroom which were all fine. However, I consider it dishonest that a three star hotel cannot provide that which most guests would wish for i.e. somewhere to sleep. Therefore if you are fortunate enough to be able to sleep for a few hours after when the club winds up at around 4 AM you will enjoy those few hours. But you will not enjoy your holiday stay and will leave more tired and stressed than when you arrived. This, in my own opinion, is not the normal sought after holiday experience and hotels advertising their service as causing additional stress to their guests would be unlikely to prosper. On the final night of our three-day stay, the next-door room occupants decided to talk from about 3-6 AM. They were not having a party, they were not shouting, they were talking. However, the walls are so thin and badly insulated they may as well have been lying in our bed talking to us. We were fortunate in that there was a smaller room with an extra single bed adjoined to our main room. Therefore, at about 4 oclock in the morning having requested our neighbours to let us sleep (which itself was frustrated by their inability to recognise either the time of day or the annoyance that they were causing), we dismantled our large comfortable double bed and took one of the mattresses to put on the floor in the small room. This meant that the 3 ½ hours sleep that I finally got that night was on a mattress on the floor in the spare room of a three star hotel. Furthermore, should you wish to complain about this it is not possible. There is no number given where you could ask the hotel management to sort out your night time problem, presumably because the hotel management do not stay on the premises as they do not want to be disturbed during the night!! In the three nights that we stayed I was able to sleep for about 13 hours, or about 60% of the medically accepted international norm. I have no comment to make about the restaurant or breakfast, as my lack of sleeping made me very unwilling to give any more money to them for any service whatsoever. While the rooms are fine and the hotel pleasant, unless the owners do something to address the enduring noise problems, I would advise people to either go elsewhere, or negotiate an appropriate price for their own sleep deprivation.

    Nice but noisy room

We have stayed here before and the rooms have been updated. Our rooms were not ready on arrival and we were allowed to store our luggage in a unlocked facility opposite the desk. Unfortunately this had s low shelf that 2 of our party hit their heads on. We suggested as this shelf seemed to have clutter on it it could be removed. Im not sure if the chap we complained to fully understood though he understood enough to tell us we had to take responsibility for our own actions. We were fortunate to have a room with a balcony - though this was not private. Fairly good facilities but we could hear everything from the rooms either side. Breakfast was adequate but busy and needed topping up with croissants and bread. Would probably look elsewhere first if I was staying in Quiberon again, but would not rule out staying here again.

    A budget hotel

More expensive hotels were not available but as this was on our list of places we booked here. TV did not work. No tea/coffee in room. Bathroom was in need of some attention. On the plus side the receptionist, when we arrived, was very helpful by helping me with confusing parking prices. You can buy small parking times but over 4 hours jumps to E34 per day. So you got to keep topping up.
