  Estuvimos en nuestro viaje de novios y nos encantó. El hotel muy bonito, las vistas inmejorables, el servicio muy profesional, la cocina muy buena y el spa muy completo y agradable. Sin duda, trataremos de volver.

  Quality hotel in the mountains

  Location: Amazing! Room: Room layout is pretty straightforward with some nice mountain design elements. We found the bed quality below standard. While sitting on the mattress (i am nearly 2 meters and weigh 95kg) you will feel the slatted frame, which is uncomfortable. This together with the thin pillow which doesn't give much of support i would say there is room for improvement. The temperature in the room was very very hot and dry. There is no airconditioning and you can only open the window a little bit. For people who like it cold in their room while sleeping I think this is important to know. Bar/Restaurant: All staff were absolutely great. The bartender who suggested to try a dirty martini and all the staff in the restaurant, they really made it a good experience to stay in the hotel rather than going to other restaurants. Also the food in the restaurant is in line with the 4* which the hotel has. It is a non-typical mountain hotel menu and effort is made to present everything very nicely. Spa: Stunning! Amazing view from the pool and sauna. Delicious snacks and tea to enjoy while recovering from a day in the outdoors. Reception: Besides the bed, we found the frontdesk lady not the most pleasant experience. The lady didn't seem to care much, was hospitable or smiled. Personally i think the reception is where you arrive/depart at the hotel and reception staff is a business card for the hotel. Some training in hospitality and friendliness might help there.

  Amazing stay in Frutt Lodge

  We came for a hiking weekend. It was definitely the best mountain stay we have had in Switzerland. Everything was perfect, starting from room, spa, hospitality and food. I would specially highlight the quality and presentation of the food. We had the 3 course half board dinner and the meals were always amazing. Breakfast and lunch were excellent as well. Special mention to Steffi the sommelier, who made amazing wine tasting experience and also recommended the best wines. Rasvan Dan took amazing care of us during dinner service, he took the time to talk to us and very knowledgeable and friendly.

  Disappointing

  I have wanted to stay at this hotel for ages but I was so disappointed. Our main disappointment comes from the reception we received at the reception. We did arrive before check in but as it is a ski-in / out resort, I would imagine that's normal. We asked where we could change into our ski boots, leave our luggage & get ski passes. The receptionists were not helpful & made it feel as if our requests were a huge inconvenience to them. Unfortunately, first impressions make lasting impressions. There were other interactions with them during our 24 hour stay which made us wonder if we had done anything wrong to make them so disgruntled. We stayed in a junior suite which was too warm - we had to open the balcony window to get air in and cool down so we could sleep (because the window hardly opens). It was even too hot without a duvet. The room was clean and spacious but the sound proofing was non existent. A herd of elephants upstairs kept us from getting to sleep and woke us up. We stayed half board. The food was lacking in options. We didn't get to use the spa as you had to book a slot and there was no availability when we wanted to go. I know things are strange at the moment, but it doesn't mean hotels can't make their guest feel welcome. Wearing a face mask doesn't mean you don't have to be friendly. Our stay was not cheap for one night, & I expected a better experience. The best part about our stay was the sledge run which you can do without staying at the hotel!

  Perfect spot for a relaxing wellness getaway!

  We had a wonderful stay at Frutt Lodge & Spa! The room was super spacious and we had a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Even in Covid-19 times they managed to deal with the restrictions and we felt super safe! - especially in the spa we were impressed. Would definitely recommend!! :)
