Ask for higher floor, it has better city view
Its about 7 minutes walking distance to City Hall station. However, the nearest exit do not have elevator. Use exit 1 or exit 2 if you bring big luggage. There are many decent restaurant nearby. Also Holly Coffee and Starbucks just in front of the hotel. Going to Myeongdong also easy, about 15 minutes walking distance. And the Sungyemun Gate is very near, just about 3 minutes walk. What I love about this hotel that they separate the bathroom and the toilet. And the laundry room also very useful if you need to wash the clothes.

Great Hotel
I really enjoyed our stay here in Gracery Hotel. Friendly and polite staff. Cleanliness is tip top. Toilet clean with bath tub. The aroma bath salt was a bonus. However the 1st day, while we still sleeping, we got awake by the housekeeping staff ring/knock our door to do room cleaning at 9am+. Is our holiday and we deserved a good sleep as long as we want and not get disturbed. Is our privacy. Apart from that issue everything is great. Location good, need a little walk to Myeongdong. To Namnadeum is a short walk. 20 mins walk to the Palace. Around the area has good restaurants. The hotel has a strict policy of 3pm check in although is not fully book, considering the current outbreak. Everywhere is quiet. The management should be more flexible on that, rather than giving the room key at once to all guest that has waited. We arrived at 12.30pm and waited at the lobby till 1.45pm. Then we proceed for lunch and back at 2.45pm. Approached the counter insisted that check in is at 3pm. Think there is no harm giving the room with just 15 mins earlier, there is no flexibility at all. Return : Definitely will return provided with good rate and with more flexibility.

High Floor is Great
The room is bright and located on a high floor. It is clean and spacious. The in room amenities are adequate as well. Wifi is strong and the bed is comfortable. The staff is friendly and efficient. The location is pretty good with easy access to major attractions such as Myeondong and also to the City Hall station. Price is reasonable as well. Highly recommended.

Fantastic
The hotel is situated on the upper floors of the building. Reception is on the 11th floor and rooms are from 12th to the top floor (20th, where we had our room). Reception was very friendly and swift, and the everyone we encountered at the reception spoke perfect English. The room is great. The lay-out is a bit different, but it works fine: toilet and bathroom (i.e., bathtub and washing place - the hotel is oriented towards Japanese clientele) are each separate, while the wash basin is in the hall connected to the room. Wide array of amenities, even including bath salt for a relaxing soak. Beds are relatively hard (Asian style), but not too hard either. The hotel also offers free parking. The location of the hotel is great, close to Seoul Plaza, Myeongdong and Namdaemun, with easy access to the subway.

Well appointed hotel
this hotel is right next to Namdeamun market and Myeongdong which you can try lots of local food and go shopping. as it is a Japanese brand hotel, everything is very well organised and well-appointed. room was big enough for 2people. bathroom and toilet are separated so even one of them is using either toilet or bathroom, you can still use the other one. i like the table between beds that i had dinner with my friend.
