  Hotel perfecto si vas a Hervanta

  Estuvimos aqui varias noches para visitar a mi hijo que esta haciendo un Erasmus en Tampere. El hotel está justo enfrente de la residencia de estudiantes de ingenieria, lo cual era muy comodo para estar con el. El desayuno correcto, la cena muy buena, en general muy bien, recomendable. El dueño, muy amable nos hizo fotos cenando y nos las envio por email a casa.

  All good and functional

  Arrived late at this hotel, 1-30 in the morning. The lady on reception had stayed to check me in, as usually they close at 11. No problem, happy to serve me a beer even although she wanted to go home. Exceptional service, never made me feel rushed. Room was very clean and everything as usual worked as it should. Only stayed for breakfast which was varied and plentiful again with happy to help staff. This was a business trip and I will use again.

  As basic as they come

  They had the last available decently priced room in Tampere on a weekend where there couple of big events in the city. The price is cheap and you get what you pay for. The hotel has limited reception hours, but at this weekend because the hotel was full, they had extended the check-in hours so early check-in was possible. The staff is friendly and they offer free parking both on the outside parking lot and in a garage if there is space left. The garage only fits less than 10 cars so you have to be early if you want a garage spot. I can see there is a wifi but I was never given a password for it. The room I got was quite big. It had basic desk and couple of chairs. Lot of shelf space which is a plus. A modern flat screen TV in the room. There was also a minifridge but it had a little bit ill fitting door so it wasn't very cold inside but kept my soda bottles somewhat cool. The bed is very basic with soft springs, the pillows also very basic but it was ok for one night. The main room was clean and the linen seemed to be clean too. However the wooden floor was somewhat destroyed, especially near the desk and the nightstand the floow surface was completely scratched off and there were some elevated floor blocks as well. Also the cleaning has missed a visible winter boot mark left by previous guest. Furniture was in good condition. The bigger grievance however is the bathroom. The floor was somewhat dirty, there were hairs and dust near the door. Also the old vinyl floor was looking a bit tattered, seemed to have cigarette burn marks or similar black spots and was generally unappealing to the point that I decided against taking a shower. The toilet seat and sink were clean. The tower radiator worked. The soundproofing was surprisingly ok, the hotel is quiet and I didn't have need to use ear plugs because there were very little noise from outside and inside. The breakfast was a bit of a let down. They have a lot of variety but some of the warm stuff, were actually underheated. For example the karelian pies were warm on the edges but close to frozen in the center. The ball shaped doughnuts were the also near frozen. They should be served warm. Not a very good start for the day. In general for the price the quality is ok. The hotel has some issues with cleaning and breakfast but those are minort considering the price. The location is far from the city but has good public transport connections.

  Very very basic

  This hotel was pretty ordinary. Not attended until 4pm so if you arrive before that be prepared to stand in a carpal in the cold. Breakfast was very basic and I would not touch the hot food ( or lukewarm) Shower was good and the front desk was nice. Only changed towels if you asked and no room service. The beds were very small but reasonably comfortable. We were booked here by a company but would not recommend or stay there again.

  Very decently priced hotel

  Hermica was a good hotel for a one night and we enjoyed our stay, especially because we were served by a really friendly and helpful employee. There wasnt nothing fancy, but very decently priced & clean!
