  The only place to stay in Lossburg!

  For starters, Lossburg is a tiny village with very little happening so those seeking action packed days will be disappointed. That said, for nature lovers and those who like wandering into the forest, this place is wonderful. I have been visiting Lossburg since 2004, almost always on work and have only stayed at this hotel. My first stay was at a Holiday Apartment (Fereinwohnung) for 10 months back in 2004/5. Since then I never needed to look at other hotels. The rooms are clean and spacious. The apartments are fantastic! The family who owns the hotel is extremely kind and most helpful although the couple does not speak English. There is now however some staff who can manage some English which is useful. The swimming pool and spa area is nice and cozy and great for a relaxing time. The restaurant is functional and special requests can be made however Vegetarians may not always have it very easy. The options are limited since the chef there is probably not used to having many of our kind. All in all, I would highly recommend people to consider staying at this hotel whenever they go to Lossburg or nearby villages.

  Not a good experience

  I stayed here for 3 nights recently. The location is very convenient to Lossburg. Parking spaces were difficult to find, I ended up parking on a footpath a short walk from the hotel, which is a worry with a hire car. The receptionist was very welcoming and the reception is located in a very nice cafe area. The room was OK but the bed was very uncomfortable. The staff in the restaurant were poor to the say the very least. The first night I had to use google translate to order my food which came quickly and was quite tasty. The second night I was handed an English menu but the delays were ridiculous. I ordered desert which had not arrived nearly 40 minutes later so I gave up and left. It seems to me to be understaffed considering the size of the restaurant and number of guests. The breakfast was excellent and included a pot of fresh coffee delivered to the table.
