  Disgusting place

  Old hotel with bad smell, rude staff, small and very dark rooms. No internet in the room, only in the hall. Breakfast = coffee + croissant (takeaway). Arrogant and unfriendly receptionist.

  Very inacurate and unfair review

  The way i see it the previous review of this hotel is very unfair and it seems the writer Kristina . has some sort of grudge against this hotel I have stayed at this hotel on more than one occasion and i have always found the staff to be extremely courteous, helpful and very caring. Sure it is an older hotel and that contributes to the pleasure one get's from staying there but i can assure you it is not smelly nor are the rooms Very small and dark, what nonsense,just about as stupid as the comment that the receptionist is arrorgant and unfriendly and the staff rude. Regarding breakfast, we found the breakfast dining room to have everything one would require, certainly no less than you would find in a similer type hotel. Management are just too happy to help out even if it means driving you into Bergamo to save you a bus trip. As far as the internet is concerned yes there was a problem with the wifi in the rooms but only for a very short time a recent storm had shut part of the system down but the owner had technicians fix the problem as soon as it was possible. So i think people should think carefully before writing unfair exaggerated reviews that can be harmfull to what is a very good Family run hotel with i should add immaculate secrurity.

  Very friendly and pleasant place to stay

  We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at this hotel recently. Although it is a little tired and fairly basic - the price reflected that anyway as it was pretty cheap - the friendliness of the staff made up for that. We were treated like family friends. It's a family run hotel and the gentleman was very obliging and gave us lots of information about the area, and went out of his way to ensure that we had what we needed. The breakfast was adequate and compared favourably to what is normally served in this part of the world. Our friends on the second floor had trouble accessing the internet in their room. But it was fine out in the hallway. We didn't really need it during our stay. It was a cheap and friendly place to stay and was clean. We were just travelling through so this suited our requirements very well. My rating is high because of the service - as I said, it's clean and basic as a facility.

  A Friendly Convenient Hotel plus more

  This Hotel is close to the City centre of Bergamo, it is a very clean and well managed Family hotel, the owner and staff are very obliging. A pick up service is available from the Local Airport and Railway station subject to availability etc. From Bergamo you can visit many places on a day trip, Venice, Verona, Monza, St Moritz, Lake Como and so on. Make La Quercia your base and you will not be disappointed

  Friendly, helpful staff.

  After being collected from the airport the manager was there to meet us and bring in the bags, the staff could not have been more accommodating. The hotel is on the outskirts of Bergamo but do not let this put you off. While asking about transport into town we were provided with maps, travel tickets and easy directions, as well as a lift to the train station, for a small fee, where we easily caught the bus to the upper town. I would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to see the sights of the area, we will definitely be making a return journey.
