  Charming hotel

  We had three wonderful nights on comfortable beds, in pleasant aircon temperature (not too hot or cold). The balcony was spotlessly clean, like the entire hotel(staircases, rooms, garden, hallway etc). Beautiful flowers and palm trees surrounded the garden. The beach had brilliant internet connection through the restaurant Alban. The breakfast was varied and contained everything from British eggs and sausages to Greek (salad) breakfast, fruit , French croissants and pain au chocolat. Every day, there was something new. Fantastically helpful and friendly staff. The interior of the ground floor had a boutique feel about it, but the rooms were more modern in decoration. We loved Hotel Piccolino! It had personality and charm!

  Sarande - deluxe room

  Deluxe room at a deluxe price - Im always astonished at how high the prices have risen for this city. Do not in any way expect European or Greek standards in hotels where Ive had the most fantastic breakfasts and comfy beds with one small village hotel outdoing the next. The bad: No parking- very steep driveway offered as parking - par for the course it seems. If you are coming from the ferry in Corfu it would not matter, but if you have a car you dont want to damage its stressful. No elevators - expect to lift luggage up many flights of marble steps with children and elderly in tow Oddly placed windows without panes or safety in stairwells in every floor. Imagining children falling out while taking a peek No bottles of water in room- was pointed to the sink when asking for water. Balcony is nice but tiny. 2 chairs can fit with difficulty The good: Staff everyone was helpful and nice considering the circumstances because it was obvious I was disappointed - Greek and English were spoken. Clean - Beds/ towels were clean and water pressure was good Wifi was free and fast Air conditioner in room Good location near boardwalk Close to ferries Really not European standard so dont expect that.

  totally recommended

  We spent there 1 week with my girlfriend. The owner and the persnal were always polite and helpful. The hotel building and the breakfast area was really clean, also our room was cleaned each 2nd day. The Hotel has an own beach area, with sunbeds and umbrella, and there was also a small restaurant (we didnt eat there, but there was an tripadisor excellent certificat) I can say just one problem, on the shower there was no a door or curtain, after a taking a shower was water everywhere on the floor in the bathroom. But maybe it is normal in Albania, we experienced it in another Hotel in Vlora as well, and last year in Tirana. But it is not a disaster just you must be a bit careful. The city center is just 5-10 min on foot, there are a lot of restaurants and suvernires, and boat trip offers We can just recommend the hotel, unfortunately it is a bit far from us, but maybe we are still coming, because we were absolutely satisfied

  Nice Place to be!!

  The location has directly sea view with an own entrance to the sea. The Hotel team was so friendly. We felt like being part of the family. They did everything to satisfy our requirements. As well waiting for us when we were delayed for breakfast ;). Everything was clean. We had wonderful time in Piccolino Hotel. Hopefully we will come back. For all who decides to stay in Saranda.. we would really recommend this Hotel.!!! Hopefully we see us again! Falemenderit Hotel Piccolino!

  Seaside Summer Spot

  Our 2nd visit to this sweet little, recently updated hotel, on the edge of the crystal blue-green Ionian Sea, was even better than our first visit a month earlier. The rooms are a comfortable size for 2, spotlessly clean, modern bathroom, spacious balcony with amazing views. The owners are super friendly, helpful & a quick text away 24/7. You need a coffee pot, an extra chair, a table for your balcony, more towels, or even a few extra days at the beach? They will jump to help you! ENJOY!
