Not worth a write up but ONLY stay here if your expectations are low or zero

I knew when I booked this hotel it would be budget, as expected by the price, however I would've paid more for sleeping in their lobby area...at least it didn't smell of smoke! Our allocated room was on the ground floor and STANK of stale smoke. We stayed 30mins (in the lobby) only to plan our next move to a better budget hotel. We have stayed in same priced hotels and received a much better quality all round. The toilets and showers were similar to public facilities where you don't want to touch any surface - they might have been clean but very tired looking. It's located in an industrial park so you need your own wheels or taxi 3 miles to Metz town centre. The only thing that brought a smile were the kittens outside the hotel...although a bit of me wanted to rescue them from such a grim place.

Flea pit (with real life fleas)

We stayed here (family of 5) at the end of August and beginning of september as a stop over to Italy and back. I have never in my life stayed in such an absolute flea pit- Yes, we found fleas! one of which was feasting on my Daughter's leg. As we arrived we were amused by the ''secure'' parking. I imagine it would have been secure if the meters of fencing were actually standing! Before we even entered the ''Hotel'' we had to fight our way through a large group of drunk Polish builders outside. These guys stayed there all night, getting more drunk, loud and angry as time went on. You had also be prepared to like Cats, lots and lots of feral cats and the noises they make. The hotel was dirty and absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. The showers and toilets were absolutely howling and covered in cigarette burns and spit *gag* The rooms smelled of urine, I used to be a housekeeper and found the tell tale signs of why it had such an aroma- top tip, don't look in the sinks. The bedding was smelly and stained, making me demand that my partner fight his way through the angry drunkards outside and retrieve all our bedding from the car. We left this dump at 4.30am the following day. Don't be tempted by a cheap deal! DO NOT stay at this hotel! I would have rather slept in our car!

    Avoid like the plague!!!

My husband and and I went to this horrible place. First off, it was not easily accessible, next, the receptionist didn't seem to care at all about the customers or the hotel itself. Then, we went up to our room to find smokers everywhere in the hallways, rooms and bathrooms. In our room, there were clumps of hair on the floor and our bed looked like Chewbaca had rolled on our sheets! The faucet was not attached to the sink, so it made for quite a challenging experience to brush our teeth. There was no AC, which wouldn't have been a problem, except we couldn't leave our window open nor leave our door slightly ajar for a breeze because of all the smokers. Furthermore, I was the only woman at this location, so I only felt safe with my husband near me. The showers...the water pressure was so intense it hurt us, and the light went off in the shower, so you were left in the dark with shampoo in your hair (my showers don't take more than 10mins tops!). There's also a terminal for people to sign in when they arrive in case the receptionist has left for the night, unfortunately it was out of order so a few people were left to their own device to figure out another location. Overall...the worst experience in Europe to have! The only reason why we give it a 1 star is because our room had a lock...

    Very bad

We stayed at this hotel just on the off chance when traveling back from slovakia. On arrival gate was closed so you can't get your car in until you check in. Well that's when it goes down hill it was late no receptionist so it's a self service machine outside where you pay by card before you get the code for the gate and door to the place. So in we go stinks of cig smoke everywhere. We new it was budget but the toilets and showers where stinking. The rooms have a sink and t.v. and clean sheets but also stink of fags the walls have got stains on them god only knows what they are. So in the morning the wife decides to use the toilet only out of desperation, she comes back to the room only to inform me that the place was full of men from romania gawking at her on the way back to the room very intimidating. We did not enjoy the stay and won't be back in a f1 hotel again. If you have extra cash use it for another hotel.

    Don't stay here. Just don't.

I am genuinely shocked at how bad this hotel is. Yes I have stayed in F1 hotels before, and yes I expected clean and basic. However. Basic would have been an upgrade. Filthy rooms. Smelly rooms. The only trade seemed to be brothel trade. And the bed linen? God knows what the stains were. The most frustrating thing about this hotel is the automatic check in. It takes your money and allocates you rooms. Our rooms were disgusting, but there is no one at check in to complain too! We were not prepared to stay the night, it really is that bad so we moved on. So, commence the battle for recompense. Using Accor hotels web form, I complained and got no reply. So I complained again and this time got a reply from someone who obviously hadn't read my complaint properly and they offered me 10% off my next stay at an Accor hotel. Like I'm ever likely to stay at one again. Followed by an web form back to them saying not good enough and I will be contacting my credit card company for a payment recall if no response. So 7 days later and still no response despite their promise of reply within 48hrs. So I'll continue my battle to get a full refund from this bunch of Cowboys, but my advice to you, dear travellers, is do not stay at this hotel. Just don't. You will regret it.
