  Reasonable Quality Price but everywhere stank of stale cigarette smoke

  Hotel well situated near the centre of the attractive little town of Montargis. Underground parking available - but remember to reserve a space when booking. The reception and staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little small and frankly tatty, but one shouldn't expect luxury accommodation for economy rates. The Brasserie restaurant was excellent with happy friendly young staff serving good French food with rapid friendly service. The one problem with the hotel was the all pervasive strong smell of stale tobacco which first hit one on entering the lift and went throughout the corridors (which officially were non-smoking). Although the smell was not so strong in the room (which officially was a non-smoking room), it was still strong enough to be unpleasant. Were it not for this one serious defect, I would have rated the hotel as very good.

  interesting city

  Hotel was fine and kindly contacted us concerning items we accidentally left in the room. Although the room was a little warm it was very comfortable and the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was above average for this type of hotel.

  Perfect Location

  The hotel is a very attractive building overlooking the Place de Victor Hugo. The situation is perfect as it is close to the canals and river and has many pleasant walks around the area. Also there is a good range of shops adjacent to the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was nice, clean and tidy and a good range of food and drinks was available. Privatea underground parking is available for the sum of 6.5 euros, but it would be rather difficult for a large vehicle. Overall a very good choice and is recommended.

  They dont even try

  Unfortunately its the only good hotel near the factory me and my colleagues were working for. Starting with saying that from an IBIS hotel i dont expect this much, I stayed there for almost three months. No one speaks english, the only way to deal with reception and bar is in French, which i think in 2019 it is something pathetic. Even if we were all paying a lot and using the rooms for a long time it was hard to take bigger rooms (the standard double really is a tiny one) and as you can imagine all the time closed between two walls its kind of hard. Breakfast poor and simple, almost always having lack of bread and not replacing it. Restaurant good, but they still treat you such a non French, so different treatment..

  NOT satisfied at all!

  At least your personnel in Montargis is friendly. Bad breakfast, no room service and you are increasing the prices! You are kidding! Thats how you treat loyal clients? Thank you! Last time Ive stayed in Accor hotels in France! I will book now Airbnb: getting more space and much better prices for doing my own room service and breakfast!
