  Awesome Tuscany experience

  Stayed at this property for two weeks in mid September 2017 and it was awesome! A real authentic Tuscan farmhouse/villa situated in a large acreage full of olive groves and vineyards where you can walk and explore the property whenever you want. The farmhouse is large with lots of space to lounge and each bedroom has unique features and its own bathroom. The views are simply gorgeous! The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our group really enjoyed the fantastic Tuscan cuisine prepared by the chef. She is excellent at using local, seasonal ingredients and the food was a major highlight of the trip. Fresh and flavourful, it was authentic and the hand-made pasta was delicious and highly anticipated by our group. The local wine was also generously provided with our dinners. Our group had 3 daily meals included and the food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. Overall this was a fantastic experience and I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this property.

  Beautiful and rustic

  I stayed with my group Art Junctions here is September 2017 and found the property delightful. The location is ideal for touring as it is close to The Chiusi exit of the A1 Auto strada so easily accessible from the highway, yet in the countryside. The towns of Cetona, Chiusi,Montepulciano,Pienza are all easy to get to and for those travelling by train, the Chiusi train station is only 10 mins away by car and from there Florence or Rome are an easy train trip away. The property has wonderful olive groves and acres of vineyards for walking in and the meals produced with local ingredients are lovely. We had a lovely time here.

  Home Comfort

  This is a wonderful place to stay in Tuscany, because of the charm of Sylvie (the proprietress) and her amazing cooking talents, every meal is a pleasure. The stately old villa may be a little dated, but each room has it's unique charm. There is a beautiful spacious community room on the first floor with a huge fireplace, as well as another on the upper floor. It is only 10 minutes from Cetona, an upscale Italian town, and it is close to Chiusi an old Etruscan town. A large swimming pool looks inviting for summer. I highly recommend this yet undiscovered place to enjoy for a week or a month!!!

  Old style farmhouse

  Located just 3 km from Cetona town Il Pornelleto is just over the motorway in the countryside. Really rustic, it offers different size apartments. We stayed in the main building where we basically had the entire place to ourselves. Sylvie's hospitality is fantastic and she allowed us to have access to the huge dining/living area, the kitchen and light the fireplace. We all felt like being at home. 1km down the road on the property is the restaurant where we enjoyed a lovely, varied breakfast and one evening we had dinner. Sylvie prepares a 3 course meal incl. Wine for only 20 per person. The menu varies daily based on what fresh local produces she is able to get. Recommend this place for its location and hospitality.

  Gran Sorpresa y Gran amabilidad.

  Nuestra gran Sorpresa fue encontrarnos con la propietaria del lugar, Silvi, es super atenta y trabajadora. Nada mas llegar el 1er dia, cenemos en la gran casa rural con nuestra comida y ella nos dejo un abridor para nuestra botella de vino. Para desayunar hace unos pasteles caseros increibles. Y para colmo hace unas cenas a menu cerrado muy buenas, no pedimos ni que haria para cenar. Porque solo viendo que el almuerzo era buenissimo, Sabiamos que la cena seria del mismo estilo y asi fue. 4 platos tipicos de la toscana. Vino de la casa muy bueno y 2 platos principales + postre y un limonchelo. INCREIBLE a parte cuidando todo el momento los detalles entre plato y plato sale de la cocina para preguntar que tal todo. Si sigue trabajando asi sera un hotel rural Top de la zona. Gracias por todo Silvi. Pd: Nos alojemos en esta casa rural 2 dias con la intenciòn de visitar 1er dia de bajada de siena hacia alla y 2ndo dia para visitar arezzo, cortona y el Lago trasimeno y al levantarnos visitar la zona sud de la Toscana, montepulciano, pieza, bagno vigniori etc.
