  My new favorite!

  Excellent hotel, restaurants and facilities. My room on the 36th floor had everything that I could want: firm mattress, lots of pillows, LED flashlight and an umbrella. The view of the Wuxi Museum and Park was an added plus. Breakfast in the 5th floor Kafe was excellent!

  Good stay

  The hotel location is very goog, within a walking distance (15 min) to nashan temple.Rooms are nice, spacious and well decorated. The staff is attentive and speaks a very good English. The only things that is not so good is the western breakfast, poor choice and quality so so; also, the SPA was closed and no options nearby were given. Anyway, que quality/ price relation is very good and I would return, if in Wuxi.

  Terrific stay at Intercontinental Wuxi

  After a 40 minute journey from the airport to Intercontinental, we arrived at a grand 2 storey tall lobby complete with beautiful Christmas festive decor. The checkin was painless and quick. We had to go through lift card security and went to our room on the upper floors. The corridors were lushly furnished with thick carpets and a dark, classy finishing. Entering the room, one feels a luxuriant ambience. Mood lighting, thick and rich carpets to welcome your feet. The amenities and furniture is well matched. The views were unblocked and splendid. We only had a few observations that maybe the hotel can consider.. first was that of lighting. Some area of the room, especially where the luggage was to be placed was too dark. We cant see anything in our luggage and needed to use our phone lights to see. Second, was the practice of placing unused pillows on the window sill. It felt unhygienic. Thirdly, we experienced a cracked toilet window when we arrived back from our day. They did not leave a note, but awaited our call to report it. It caused concern and anxiety. Maybe the staff can be better trained to deal with such circumstance. But overall a nice stay. Great for couples and business.

  It was a pleasant experience

  Checked in 3727. Although there were some defects in the room, I was satisfied with the treatment of Manager Xu of the Front Office Department.The manager of the Lounge deserves the most praise. Every time we left the Lounge, she would see us into the elevator and then leave. The service attitude was very good.

  Highly dissapointing

  When you book a non smoking room on non smoking floor you expect a non cigarettes smell in a floor hallway. I am asthmatic so always make sure what room I book. I was unpleasantly shocked to realize that even though the floor was marked non smoking it smelled strong and really badly. There were guests smoking i non smoking rooms keeping the door open! Everyone could see it including the room service staff - 4 days no change! Cleaning staff passing by, room service passing by, supervisors passing by, nobody even bothered to instruct those hotel guests! Pool area dissapointing. The first day we went there we informed the staff that hot tub and jacuzzi is not working. We found open electric wires at the hot tub which we found extremely dangerous and informed the staff accordingly. They put the yellow sign : do not touch and that's it! 4 days and nobody moved a finger to fix it. I am highly dissapointed as whetever I go my first priority is always Interconti mostly due to stable and predictable standard of services but this hotel is really beyond the standard. Shame, shame, shame.
