  Perfection in food, wine and ambiance, a great place to stay.

  This restaurant was one of the best food experiences of our whole trip to France. The terrace provided the best space for al fresco dining with enough room between the tables for privacy in a beautifully lit garden setting. The menu was modern French based on locally grown produce of seasonal vegetables with herbs from their own garden combined with options of poultry, the usual range of meat and very fresh fish. The service was very prompt and the staff proficient in their knowledge of the food choices available plus the extensive wine list on offer. La Chaumiere Hotel is a very special place to stay as the rooms are spacious, luxurious, quiet and spotlessly clean. It is a mixture of a refurbished tradition three story stone building with modern additions and facilities. From the moment we arrived we were delighted by the welcoming friendly staff. The secure car park at the rear of the building was a big bonus.

  What a lovely Hotel

  I was one night in this Hotel , Lovely hotel , the room was so nostalgic and clean , perfect restaurant with good quality of food , the stuff were friendly and helpful.. the only weak point was interest connection which were not possible all the time

  La Chaumière is welcoming and comfortable with friendly staff. Dinner and breakfast were good, though not much choice for vegetarians. There is excellent secure parking but you do have to check in first to get the code.

  A Jewel of a Hotel

  We stayed here for two nights and had the most pleasant stay. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the accommodations first rate. Especially appreciated was the gourmet restaurant that welcomed us after a day of seeing the many castles and churches nearby. We had beautifully prepared feasts for dinner and lovely French breakfasts in the morning. Everything felt country yet elegant at the same time.

  Very charming, great service and an excellent restaurant

  We stayed here as it was close to a wedding venue. The hotel is very clean, we stayed in a junior suite which was spacious and very comfortable. Prior to the wedding we had lunch in the restaurant, it was top notch, we took Lobster for starters followed by Ris de Veau. The cheese trolley was substancial and they also have a superb wine list.
