  Las apariencias engañan

  El aspecto desde la carretera es el de un motel poco vistoso. La realidad es totalmente distinta. A 3 km del centro. El edificio principal acoge las zonas comunes y tras el, alejado de la carretera, el edificio con las habitaciones. Silenciosas, sin grandes lujos pero limpias y acogedoras. Wifi potente gratuito. Sin problemas para aparcar. El restaurante probablemente es lo mejor, con una carta de pizzas interminable. Cuidado con las raciones que son enormes. Desayuno bufete completísimo. Solo estuvimos una noche para visitar L'Aquila pero estuvimos muy cómodos, muy bien atendidos y a un precio bueno

  Unpretentiously Superb

  Ill be honest. When I arrived I thought Id made a mistake. My room in the annex was dark and a bit worn. But, well... The restaurant was full of locals, always a good sign, and absolutely superb. The staff were friendly and cheerful and also superb. No hesitation in handing out all 5 stars.

  Excellent Hotel Outside the City

  I stayed at this hotel for seven nights in May, 2018, as part of a landscape photography workshop in the Abruzzo region. It is located about twelve kilometers from the center of L'Aquila, which was devastated by an earthquake in 2009. I had an excellent room on the ground floor, large, with a good-size bathroom and a small fridge. The restaurant at the hotel was outstanding, with a plethora of local dishes, pastas, salads, meat, and pizza in the evening. The wine selection is also excellent, with great selections of wine from the Abruzzo region. The portions were huge and the prices quite reasonable; our meals were included with our workshop as was our room. A good indicator of the quality of this restaurant is that it was packed with Italians at lunch and dinner everyday. Particularly on weekends, hotel guests would be wise to book a table ahead. There was no fish on the menu, which was disappointing, particularly since L'Aquila is only about 100 km from the Adriatic coast. The hotel is large and spacious with plenty of parking and a small, but very nice pool. The owner is seen constantly, helping guests with their every need and even occasionally taking orders and serving in the restaurant. All of the employees and extremely nice and helpful; it's customer service at its finest! I would definitely recommend this hotel. The room prices are reasonable and it is very accessible. It is a great place to use as a base for exploring the nearby national parks with their stunning mountains and charming little villages. The Adriatic coast is also an easy drive for a day trip.

  Good food and amazing service

  We stumbled upon this place when searching for a place to stay between two nights of exploring the Gran Sasso National Park in Italy. It was perhaps not the mountain hide-away we originally had in mind. However, it was clean and attractive inside, the pool was nice. The service was incredibly friendly, and the food and drink were very good. It was very good value for money.

  Incredible Service

  We were a group of friends embarking on a cycling trip in the Abruzzo mountains and region. We had very special requirements and the hotel could not have been more accomodating. Nothing was a bother to them and they bent over backwards to help us out. Amazing service. The food and rooms are great too.
