  Tyrol tranquility

  Great hotel, staff are friendly and understanding. Food is awsome. Only 10 minutes walk to Bruneck centre with numerous bars and restaurants. Take a walk along the river or chill in the pool. Have stayed numerous times and recommend it to all my customers and suppliers

  Nice modern hotel with a certain room for improvement

  We arrived around noon time and the assigned room was not ready. The check-in time is 14:00 and before that time the room is not available we were told. We were not offered to wait within the hotel, they do have a nice garden and restaurant, but sent out again to return after 14:00. This was quite upsetting, after a journey of more than 8 hours. We spent the waiting time visiting nice Bruneck. When finally boarding our room, we got a very nice, modern and spacy room. All furniture and equipment are new, without wear and tear, inclusive the bathroom fittings and equipment which were also of high-quality materials. The room was tidy and clean. The bathroom has a generous size and the flat shower is very comfortable. We had half board, i.e. breakfast and dinner. Breakfast has rich selection of choices, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, salmon, cheese, fruits, cakes and various coffees. They offer a good selection of various breads and bread rolls. Several choices of fruits, and sweets. A good variety on different cereals. The dinner is very good, includes a buffet from fresh salads, a first course, i.e. a soup or a starter, there is a selection of 3 different main courses each day, i.e. meat, fish or vegetarian and desserts. The new cubicles for the dining area make the area a little dark Service is good and friendly, sometimes inattentive. The sauna area is dark and never appeared as bright as displayed in the internet. We had difficulties to read, when relaxing after a sauna tour. Unfortunately, the lower side of the stone benches in the steam sauna need deep clean, when unintendedly touching they felt greasy. Due to the darkness you cannot judge if this is just dirt or stain /algae from the humidity. During one night of our stay there was a wedding party in the house, which occupied the dining area, in consequence we were directed to a side room for our dinner. The party continued till the early morning and we were forced to close our windows, which were facing the garden area, to find some sleep. Overall the service could be friendlier and client oriented and the sauna and steam sauna should be inspected and potentially get some additional illuminates.

  All the comfort of home after our daily adventures

  My fiancé and I visited the Dolomites for a week of hiking in mountains at the end of July. Originally I was thinking of booking a few different accommodations depending on the locations of our planned walks but the thought of packing our cases every few days made us decide to find a single base and drive out for day trips and Im so glad we did. Hotel Langgenhof is in a good location for accessing walks in different areas of the Dolomites. Most walks we did required about an hours travel by car (we hired one) but you get to see some beautiful scenery on the way. The hotel has an underground car park with plenty of spaces. The hotel itself was warm and welcoming. Its a family run business and you can tell that a lot of love goes into making your stay one to remember. The continental breakfast was included in our room price which was the perfect kick start to our long days out in the mountains. But the best bit for us was coming back after a walk feeling pretty exhausted and in need of a shower and knowing that the hotels dinner options were amazing! We ended up eating at the hotel every night (something we would never do normally) as the food was SO GOOD and really reasonably priced. There is an A la carte menu (we didnt actually eat from this) and a half board option that has 5/6 courses which is what we selected daily. They also have a couple of different theme nights which were great fun. The rooms are spacious and have a very alpine feel. All the staff were very kind and friendly and even put up with my poor attempts at German and Italian. There is a modern pool and sunbathing area which we used on one of our off days and it was really peaceful. You can walk into Brunico in about 5 minutes which has a quaint feel with local shops, an onion spired church and a castle to look around. The train station is also about 2/3 minutes walk from the hotel which Im sure is pretty handy when you dont have a car. The only constructive feedback I would give is that sometimes it was a little hard to find staff at reception or at the bar when it was quiet in the hotel in the afternoon. We truly loved our stay at Hotel Langgenhof and would definitely visit again (my fiancé is even considering skiing!) as well as recommend to friends and family who are thinking of doing a similar trip to us.   Everything, including food and staff, especially ski bus driver was excellent

  Everything, staff, especially ski bus driver, service, food , rooms, sauna and swiming pool was excellent. Even garrage is available and included in room price. We highly recommend this hotel ! Sabina&Dare
