Okay for a limited stayThis hotel is set in very spacious grounds , the chalets are not bad, but it all looks and feels a bit tired. Staff were helpful at reception but a bit too remote in the restaurant. Lighting in the room was poor which made it rather dingy. The room was spacious, room safe, comfy bed. An easy walk to the crab market and some great little restaurants. Go and watch the sun go down...great sunsets. The pool was a bit green when we arrived, but improved the next day. Breakfast was not up to much being served from a limited menu, not a buffet. I believe this is due to lack of guests. Okay, but not very flamboyant

A great find!We stayed here a relaxing 4 days but could have stayed many more. The vast gardens and pools created a getting-away-from-it-all mood, even though Kep beach and market is but a ten minute walk. Be sure and get a bungalow--the conical free-standing accommodations are lovely, and quietly romantic. A nod to Nicolle as well, the GM who was helpful in every way to make our visit most memorable.

Unpleasant StayI booked the rooms 1 night before our stay and it was during public holiday and the price was so expensive. The resort from the picture looks amazing but it was quite worn out in reality which require more maintenance especially the wooden furniture and the pool which is actually nice but there were a lot of leaves and insect inside the water. Furthermore, i strongly suggest the resort owner to watch over the Hotel Manager's behavior. This guy i met him once when i stayed at the other resort in Kep as well and yeah he was also rude back then and to my surprise that i still met him here at Le Flamboyant. His words are very sharp and disrespectful to the guest. When we first arrive he demanded that we pay in full amount and he tone is very unwelcoming. Then in the morning at the breakfast area, i knew that we had to bring our breakfast coupon but we forgot and went in and guess what, instead of politely telling us that we need to bring the coupon or we could give him the time we check out, he told us to go back to our room and bring it or else we can't eat and he said this to all the guest and they were so offended by this. Frankly speaking, i wouldn't be there again if this guy is still there cuz he made us feel like we beg to stay at his place when in fact we are the customer which he should provided a warm hospitality.

Loved our time at Le Flamboyant in KepThere's not much to do in Kep but that was fine by us because we loved our stay at Le Flamboyant so much we hardly needed to leave. We were there in low season and had the place virtually to ourselves!! I think there was one other group over the other side but we only ever saw them at breakfast. There are two pools and we had one to ourselves. The staff were attentive without being in the way and the food was outstanding. Much better than anything we had at the restaurant's by the crab market. Le Flamboyant may be a little old, but this is also reflected in the gorgeous well established garden. It is spotless and spacious. Highly recommended

Don't trust the picturesHas potential but not kept up - spent most of our time at the resort across the street. Trash littered the property, our mosquito net was blood-stained, and the full buffet breakfast is only served if there are enough guests in the hotel. Quite a sad breakfast spread before the busload of other guests arrived, which we would have understood if our expectations had been managed properly upon booking. The lovely Filipino girl (apologies can't remember name) at the front was helpful enough to assist us through a room change, however the rest of the staff were apathetic. The wifi worked alright. Not sure if we missed a sign somewhere (I did look for one), but the bottled water in the fridge is not free as it was in the rest of our hotel stays in Cambodia. We were told at check out that the tap water was free though!
