First-rate service in a beautiful location

This hotel, like the town it squarely sits in the middle of, is very special indeed. It felt like a cozy ski chalet. Beautiful wood adorned my room and it looked and smelled wonderful. The room itself was a little small for the money I paid, but I guess that's a European thing (or so I was told). The best thing about the hotel is the staff. The concierge in particular, Christian, was extremely helpful and even organized to have my luggage shipped home ahead of me so I didn't have to carry it on the several trains I needed to take. The guy just genuinely wanted to help me and make my stay as comfortable as possible. The rest of the staff were all fantastic too. Housekeeping kept everything SPOTLESS and even refused the tips I left for them on several days. My only small complaints are: A) that the bed was not the most comfortable. It was a very stiff and cheap mattress, which was tough after days of skiing. And B) It was impossible to control the temperature of the room. This was extremely frustrating in the middle of the night when it would get unbelievably hot under the down comforter they provide you with. The comforter itself was very nice, by the way, but just way too hot in that room. I often wound up using the throw on the end of the bed as a sheet. I did ask to have my bed not made up "nordic style" but that request was never met. Those are it for complaints, however, as the rest of my stay was as pleasant as could be. Great hotel. I highly recommend it.

Skiing Zermatt from Le Petit Cervin

Charming hotel in the centre of Zermatt. The service is phenomenal, particularly the concierge, Christian. He is the epitome of swiss precision and professionalism. British Airways lost our luggage and he handled the headache for us. In addition, he made sure we had adequate jackets to keep us warm while we waited for our suitcase to arrive. Our suite was cozy, comfortable and very well-appointed. The ski service in the basement is a wonderful feature and we were so grateful for the convenience and their attention to detail.

    Great little hotel

Comfortable. Great service - especially from the concierge, Christian, who did a superb job. Access to the facilities of the larger, related hotel (Mont Cervin Palace). Conveniently located right in town - 5 minutes tops from the train, 5 min cab ride to the ski lifts. You really couldn't ask for more from a hotel.

    Upscale classic Swiss hotel

Very pleasant hotel. Breakfast plentiful. Room was very nice - we had a suite which was very spacious and comfortable. Spa area disappointing, far far too many groups of children even quite late at night when it felt like a kindergarten play area which unfortunately wasnt in the childrens pool but the main pool area and outdoors. Not the relaxing place we had hoped. Ski room is ok, but you can jostle for space during rush hour! All in all its a nice place to stay, ticks all the boxes, just not the best weve stayed at in Zermatt though Im afraid

Quieter, larger rooms with all the amenities of the Mont Cervin

We had originally booked the Petit Cervin part of the Mont Cervin hotel as we were expecting to be there with our family including a young child. The rooms are much larger for the same price as the main part of the hotel with a separate living area and a toilet in addition to the bathroom. Furthermore, the bath and shower were separate. While the furniture is rustic rather than fancy, the bed was very confortable, there was a terrace for smoking, a slight view of the Matterhorn and excellent service. We also took full advantage of the amenities such as ski room, bar and breakfast service in the main hotel (breakfast was also available in our building). Highly recommended though pricey
