  A good cost-benefit relation

  I stayed in this hotel for 3 days and i liked most of things there. Some points need to be improved, but, in general, the hotel is a good place to stay in Campos. I saw some people saying here in TA that the rooms are noise, but i didn't heard any noise, nor by the elevator, nor coming from the streets, while in the room. The two rooms that i used are big, both with carpet on the floor (what is important because the floor can be very cold in the winter days. Some problems: No Wi-Fi internet on the rooms, even after they say that there is. No cable TV either. The TVs are small and old, with a terrible image (and just the free channels). No warm water in the pool (the pool IS NOT HEATED. It is ONLY COLD water. My choice was based mostly in the warm pool (piscina "climatizada", they said) that was in the ad, so, i've been frustrated. It is near to walk from the hotel to Capivari (where all the bars and restaurants are). There is a good fitness space, with some equipments. The breakfast is good. The employees are ok. Not so kind, but helpful. Another problem: it is impossible to turn of the heating in the room... the temperature was too hot for me and i needed to open the door to sleep. I would return, but, for the same price, if i could find a hotel with a warm pool, i would change my option.

  This experience never again

  sorry to say that this experience is one of the worst I ever had in business or holiday trip. some exemple of what happened during only 3 days/ 2 nights : - carpets in the stairs, and in the rooms are totally dirty with lots of stains. I got some spiders on the ceiling of my room. - inspite of giving a password, internet never worked in the rooms. - the safety lock was blocked with another key and unpossible to unlock : so I had to ask a other guest to put my passport and money into another safety lock. - in the restaurant, many windows could not be shut : cold wind comes into the restaurant without possibility to escape but to eat quickly and go to another place. - as it was raining, water was leaking in front of my door! - noises from the neighbour rooms came out : TV, conversations, party, etc.. so the isolation of the rooms is very poor. - finally nobody of the personnal are speaking any foreign language like english, german nor other any foreign languages, So the communication for all these inconvenients was difficult, fortunatly some brazilians people helped me to solves some of the problems I had, but I was not the only one to claim : also many brazilians attendants of this congress did complaint. How is it possible that in a place like Campos do Jordao such an hotel could exist? the only positive is the nice view out of the balcony.

  Good location but old hotel

  The hotel is about 10 min walking to Capivari centre. Very convenient but on the other hand the hotel is very old. Old furniture and room in bad conditions. A good maintenance would turn this hotel in a better place to stay. Sorry but I hated the smell of the hotel's deodorizer. The staff is very pleasant and helpfull. If you are looking for a place only to sleep it's ideal but not to hang around.

  Need renovation

  The hotel is old, and need a lot of renovations. The rooms are cold, old and with broken windows. The heater doesn´t work properly. I had to change for another hotel. The staff is very good. They try to solve all of the problems, but they can because most of the problems are going to be solved only with a renovation.

  Charming but in need of som TLC

  Good location in a charming mountain village. It's nothing realy wrong with the hotel apart from that it in a need of some repair work all over. Not hot enough water in the shower. Very slow internet connection. Hardly any electrical sockets for charging phones or computers. I could only find one behind the bed. There is a nice balcony outside the room, but no tables and chairs. Strange.
