  Hotel de primera, espectacular

  Hotel de primer nivel, habitaciones grandes y bien equipadas, el personal muy profecional y el bufete muy completo. Un Pelin alejado de la zona de centros comerciales pero bien para negocios ya que esta bien conectado.

  Decent Facility, Hard to Get to.

  My check in was slow, and it was interrupted by a delivery guy having to be escorted out of the lobby. The breakfast was pretty good. My room had no view - it just faced the windows of the building next door. The breakfast was fine, and the room was quiet, so I slept well. Mostly, it was extremely inconvenient to anywhere I wanted to go.

  A lot of potential, but just OK. Shop around.

  The hotel is a good 4/5 star option for western travelers looking for accommodations that offer a balance between international clientele and local touch. 1. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and diverse. Hotel guests can feast on local soups, fruit, and various Chinese dishes. They also offer a deep selection of traditionally western cuisines (e.g., eggs, bacon, pastries). 2. Decor is modern and updated - room cabinets are new, plenty of closet space, clean and comfortable bathrooms. 3. Free beer after 5PM is a nice touch But heres why this hotel is just good and not great. 1. The hotel gym is tiny. If you like to work out during vacations youll be disappointed. Two treadmills. One weight bench. Cramped quarters. The space definitely cant hold more than 4 people working out at once. 2. We were given a smoking room when we first arrived, which smelled like an ash tray. They put a air purifier in the room to hide the smell but it was ineffective. We had to change rooms. 3. The drains in the bathroom tend to smell terrible after a couple days. We had to call housekeeping to come fix it. 4. Small nuance - but theres an inconvenient lack of hangers in the room for business travelers. Overall - this hotel is just OK. Id recommend shopping around if you have the time. Its a good option for those that are making a quick pit stop through Shenzhen but Id look elsewhere if youre staying longer.

  L'Hermitage, an Oasis of excellence in Shenzhen.

  The L'Hermitage Hotel is well situated in the Nanshan district of Shenzhen. It is a boutique Hotel and has all the services you would expect. The rooms are very well looked after and contain all you would need for a great stay. The business suites are exceptional!!! The food is Chinese and western and superb, especially breakfast. The staff are extremely helpful. Special praise must go to Irina ( Sashou).Who as duty manager, made the difference between a good stay and an exceptional one. Her advice on local shops, what to see and help with ticketing etc went above and beyond. All in all a very nice place to stay whilst in Shenzhen.

  Located in the hi-tech area of Shenzhen

  Stayed at this hotel twice over the past months. Location is away from the main streets, but not unacceptably so. The driveway is confined, so not possible for coaches to access the front entrance and drop off must be outside the perimeter fence, but this is workable. recption is methodical, English is spoken and the lobby is quite spacious. The lobby bar is comfortable and the happy hour has complimentary beer. Breakfast is adequate. Nearby (turn left from main gate about 150m) there's a small retail area which has several restaurants of varying standard, as well as convenience stores, pharmacy etc. Getting a taxi is a bit of a challenge due to the location - concierge needs to assist. Allow good time. Rooms are clean and tidy. There's a major through road nearby but does not disturb a good night's sleep. Overall an affordable hotel in the hitech area of Shenzhen.
