  excellent hotel. most convenient location

  Hotel in the most convenient location. Clean rooms and staff speak English. Watch out for peak tourist seasons though. Can book tours through hotel. lake is just across the hotel. next street is local market where you get intensive food, arts and crafts and local groceries. Don't try the spa though. They will want you to sign up a package and not individual one-time service

  Excellent stay

  I stayed two nights. It has a gym which is small but has good functioning machines. The building is sturdy and you won't hear noise from other rooms. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Some speak English. Breakfast buffet is excellent. It takes 15 minute to walk to the Lijiang old town and 10 minutes to walk to the airport bus terminal. There are many restaurants and shops around the hotel.

  Worst hotel ever provided via a tour agent

  Room facilities are hopeless: 1. bed is hard like rock, 2. heater is under power 3. heater is not allowed to be turn on as you wish even if you feel cold and only centrally switched on for certain hours from 8pm despite temperature outside is less than 10 degree Celsius day time! 4. No facial tissue available, despite specifically requested from front desk/housekeeping! 5. Was provided a smoking room despite request made for non smoking room Better think twice if you wish to stay in this hotel

  10D/9N Yunnan Tour

  Nice and spacious hotel. Good location in city centre. Fast check in. Free WIfI. Very convenient. Abt 20 mins walk to Lijiang Old Town. There is a massage shop opposite hotel to ease tired legs and body.

  Old and poorly maintained.

  Once a popular hotel, Lijiang International has descended to a 2-3 star run of the mill. Cupboard space for only 3 hangars and no where to hang your clothes in bathroom makes you wonder what were the management's idea of a hotel. Bathroom is old type with poor lighting and double taps for hot/cold water. Air con is not available for most part of the year. On strong request, it is only provided at 24c from 6.30pm to 2am. Room is stuffy even with windows opened. Room lighting is also poor. Overall cleanliness of room and toilets score the lowest. Breakfast is spartan and restaurant is located a distance from main hotel block. Reception staff generally unhelpful. Only positive point is the hotel location is 18min walk to the old city. Will definitely not use this hotel again.
