  Good location, nice rooms

  Well located hotel in Old Town Lijiang, spacious well decorated room in a beautiful courtyard. Pro: Location Rooms Price-quality Con: Breakfast is kind of limited Staff is very friendly but speak hardly any English In the morning, there is no one at the desk, you have to make some noise for someone to come down and open the front door to go out or start breakfast. The breakfast room lacks ambiance Note: To enter Old Town Lijiang you have to pay a general fee of 100 yuen (around 14 euro) per person.

  Super nice hotel with great staff in Old Town Lijiang

  Very nice hotel with spacious courtyard and super cozy rooms. Staff is very helpful, great breakfast and overall just a great experience. Each room is different, I had the one above the breakfast room - which is very spacious and so fitting for beautiful Lijiang. Just don't arrive late - the hotel is not easy to find. And don't ask any of the travel agencies - the people there are completely useless. I attached a photo of the map with the hotel. From the central square tale Qiyi Rd and then turn right Xingwen Lane. The hotel is on the right side not far after the merge with another lane. Good luck!

  Really nice hotel

  I stayed in Liiang Lize Graceland hotel recently during my trip in Lijiang. The hotel is located in Lijiang old town. I really love the room, and also the people who worked there are really nice and friendly. The service is something that will make me return and highly recommend this hotel! They can arrange a tour guide for you and also if you like to hire a private driver they can find one for you at a very reasonable price. The room is beautiful and the outdoor space is really beautiful too. You truly get a good value at this place and everyone who work there will know your name- this is something that I like. The added personal touch.

  Comfortable, Convenient, Excellent, Friendly Service

  The Artistic Suite Inn provides comfortable, romantic accommodation within the "old quarter" of Lijiang. Check-in is very easy and the staff is quite helpful. The hotel is very well managed and staff are well trained. The hotel itself is quiet and relaxed. It is decorated in an appealing style that incorporates the antique feel of the building and the area, yet at the same time provides very comfortable, modern accommodation. It includes a large, outdoor atrium, an outdoor sitting area, an indoor TV/video game room and a breakfast room. Electricity, air conditioning, bath tub and shower size, water pressure, availability of hot water, outlets, small refrigerator ... all were totally satisfactory. A basket of fresh fruit was provided upon arrival. Toiletries, including toothbrushes, shampoo and other toiletries, and condoms are provided. Surrounding streets are narrow, filled with shops, restaurants, quaint creekside pathways, stone bridges and charming plazas. There are no cars and very few motorbikes or delivery carts within this part of the city, which is an excellent area for walking. After several days of wandering and relaxing there are still new areas to be discovered. The hotel is a short distance from the fresh market, where one might spot quite a selection of vegetables never seen before. (In some respects, the old city is similar to the pedestrian-only island of Gulangyu at Xiamen in Fujian Province.) Breakfast is included in the room price. It consists of a choice of four items, and is served from 8:30 - 10:00 AM. Arrangements can be made to eat earlier or later. The quality of the food was very good. During the afternoon, the staff brought fruit and tea (or coffee) to the room. At departure, the staff arranged and paid the cost of transportation of the bags by cart from the hotel to the other side of the market. From there a waiting car took us to the airport (cost 80 yuan, also covered by the hotel). One must beware that until 18:30 each day a pass costing 80 yuan is required in order to enter this area. Each person must have a pass, which can be purchased from the people manning the checkpoints. It has your name on it and is good for 30 days. Just to the west of the hotel, at 112 Xingwen Lane, is The Wu Fu Private Restaurant (reviewed separately). Wu Fu provides excellent, moderately-priced meals and friendly service.

  Beautiful hotel, ideal location, perfect stay!

  We spent 3 lovely days at this hotel, can not recommend this place enough. Undoubtedly the most beautiful and lovingly restored boutique hotel in old town. The room was such a perfect oasis within the hustle and bustle of the town. Fabulous hospitality, location, surroundings and food. There really are no words to express how great everything is at Lize Graceland Artistic Suite Inn. We've never felt so spoiled by such wonderful, warm, friendly people, they attend to your every need. A huge thank you to Ms. Li and her team, for making our holidayn just perfect!
