  Solid Performance

  We stayed for a long weekend based on a Travelzoo deal. Reception staff is hit and miss, one young man with a definite attitude problem, the rest perfectly polite and lovely. We had a corner room with two balconies, ample space for clothes and a proper sitting area, very impressive, we felt extremely comfortable. Room Service was very attentive, no complaints here. I tried the SPA for a full body massage, which was also executed nicely in a relaxing atmosphere. My only real area of dissatisfaction is the restaurant. I find it dated, crowded, just not pleasant at all. The first morning, the restaurant was literally filled to the last seat with guests and we were forced to take a table for two, squished into a corner behind a door, opposite the juice machine. We had peoples' bottoms in our faces the entire time. Not nice. Also loud, lots of children running around and general mayhem. Having said that, breakfast was very good, there was a huge choice of food for every taste. We had dinner at the restaurant, too, and again found the restaurant just very uninspiring, even though it was much emptier in the evening. It just has no atmosphere at all, which is such a shame, because the rest of the hotel is really very good. Food was good, nothing to write home about, but of very solid standard. I would book the hotel again, but would stay away from the restaurant.

  Top hotel, great location

  Well appointed luxury hotel that meets international standards, centrally located and just off the beach. The young staff at the reception could still do with a little more training. Nice upper end restaurant with a terrasse on the promenade and very nice newly done period design on the inside, that serves guests as breakfast room. Large room with 2 balconies.

  Great location and nice staff!

  I have travelled with my husband, a friend and my 2 dogs! This is a pet friendly hotel and they are quite sweet and caring with pets. They have given me a big room, with a great balcony so the dogs were just fine inside the bedroom. Great breakfast, specially on the weekend. The hotel is very well located, walking distance form all spots in the town. I would certainly return! Their restaurant is also nice!

  Great hotel and location

  + Spacious: even sofa and table + Complementary big bottle of water in room on arrival + Complimentary toiletries + bathroom with bathtub, heated towel rail, small extra mirror on wall + breakfast had lots of different kinds of bread to choose from; egen small baskets to put it in. Dont know if this is a German tradition. bacon, scrambled eggs, etc. + excellent location on one of the main streets in the centre, but not with traffic. Not right on the beach, but very, very close. + balcony with small table and 2 chairs - no safe in room Didnt try the beauty section in the basement, so cant comment on any of the treatments, nor the restaurant (apart from the breakfast, which was good).

  Perfect!!

  We stayed here with our dog during our roadtrip. And I lack words to describe our stay. Everything was perfect. The way they welcomed us and our dog, the room with its own roof terrace including a lawn for the dog, the safe hotel parking system, the friendly staff, the helpful reception , the top notch breakfast buffet, the great restaurant, the clean and well kept room, the location with all the great restaurants, bakeries, shops,the beach and the pier nearby , the atmosphere.. You name it, they've got it. The only things on the downside was that we had no informarion of the pool being closed during our stay which was a bit disappointing for our daughter (and us) and the lack of ac in the room. We loved Loev Hotel and even tried to cancel the following stops on our route to stay here longer, but unfortunately the Loev was fullbooked these nights. We will be back, as soon as possible. We found ourselves a new piece of paradise.
