  Unique location and beautiful rooms

  We stayed for 10 days over Christmas and NewYear, with very mixed weather, fantastic snow and sun some days rain and storm some other days. The Hotel has beautiful spacious rooms, nicely decorate and very clean. The location of the hotel is unique, especially on the nice days. The atmosphere in the hotel is good. The food is good on some days, but too ambitious without good results on others, we recommend to go back to the Italian basics. The staff is working hard and supply a good service

  A cuddle weekend

  A very nice cuddle weekend in this hotel with my wife, hosted in the wonderful suite with all included. We have to mainly thanks Arinda for the appreciable availability and kindness, and for the top and relaxing massage we had from her! Federico

  A winter adventure!

  Just had a long weekend here. Beautiful spot in the mountains. Peaceful and quiet with door step skiing. Getting there and back involved various form of snow friendly transport including a skidoo, mini snow plough and an ex military vehicle. All good fun. Food was good, service friendly and attentive. Not the best wellness facilities but I think theyre working on that. A nice getaway. Only downside is the weather sometimes means that the slopes are closed so the ski in advantage is lost. That said they found ways to get us out and on the slopes regardless. Needs a bit of a refurb in the next couple of years but would happily revisit.

  Wonderful attentive service

  We were very lucky that snow and weather conditions were perfect for much of the week, doorstep facilities aided by the clearing of the track/road directly to the hotel above red 7. Arrival and departure by snowcat, skidoo ( complete with rugs and duvet) were special. The spa and wellness centre didn't feature for us, parts closed no doubt due to the stunning new extension due to open in the summer. We found the attention of the staff first class, they enjoyed speaking and improving English as much as we enjoyed dabbling with Italian, all service was very professional and all the staff had perpetual broad smiles, they clearly enjoyed their work. Menus had two different choices every night for each of four courses (plus an appetiser) and provided excellent quantities of traditional Italian food for not only guests but also for additional diners on a weekend who took advantage of the free skidoo for a special experience. Rooms were large and comfortable in traditional style, towels were soft, fluffy and changed daily, hot water and heat was always available, the bed was large and comfortable - in short, everything you would hope for.   Bad restaurant

  We ate there last week and were disappointed, the whole thing was Pathetic. We book for 7h30pm and were invited to meet in pont serran. We went up with the caterpillar and it took about 30mn. When we arrived we had to wait 20mn to get our drink ordered, at this I asked the wine menu. My wife got a spritz served just before the starter at around 8h30. The Chianti wine I ordered did not arrive as the 4 Chiantis on the menu were not available. I found this after waiting 30mn so ordered something else. My wine finally arrived when my starter was done at 8h50. The food was ok but not as expected from a predefined menu at 65. We ask upfront for vegetable instead of chips for my daughter and what she got was salad out of a bag not even with dressing.... not recommended. Waiter was friendly but had no class, the receptionist caught a hoe that was at the bar that night. Definitely not the standard you would expect from the description...
