Nice hotel with lots going on, superb staff!

The hotel is slightly outside Kavos so if you want to be slightly (10 minute walk) out this is the place for you. Local beer prices are very competitive at 3 Euros a pint. Breakfast options are pretty varied Continental and English. They have rooms based in the main complex overlooking the pool area and then an annexe area as well. If you're planning some early nights then the annexe can be a little quieter. They have a swimming pool right in the middle of the complex, very clean, though could benefit from some solar water heating for later season months. They also have a wood fired pizza oven which gets fired up a couple of times a week, and they make pretty tasty pizzas. They have a few different themed nights each week including Greek night, which can be quite fun. They also do boat tours to Paxos Island and Blue Lagoon, along with coach trips into Corfu Town. Rooms were very clean, beds comfortable and Air Conditioning worked well. Staff at the hotel were brilliant and were really helpful. Overall if you want to be in the south part of the island I'd certainly recommend Mediterranean Blue.

    Great stay

My family and I had a very nice stay at the hotel. The hotel is simple but it has everything you need. The rooms are spacious and clean. All the other areas are also very clean. The hotel holds themed nights and the Greek Night was really fun. Weve upgraded to half board as all the restaurants around the resort were closed for this season. The beaches near the hotel are not very nice, and the hotel has options of boat trips and car hire. We went to 2 boat trips (Blue Lagoon and Paxos) and also hired a car for 2 days. (Car hire must be paid in cash) Im a vegetarian and the hotel went the extra mile to cook my meals and it was always very delicious. Andy, Penny and all the staff are just wonderful people and make you feel at home. Also, the 3 little dogs are just fun to be around.

Last min hotel change, we got lucky!

We had a last minute hotel change the day before we flew to Corfu and I was given two choices, and boy am I glad I chose this one. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we were treated with the upmost respect and treated like we were family. The staff went above and beyond for anything and everything, no matter how big or small. We got our room upgraded due to the hotel change and special occasion and the room overlooked the whole hotel and the sea which was beautiful. The location was ideal for that time of year as we didn't need to go anywhere else but the supermarket or when we hired a car for the day. Room wise, absolutely spotless, the beds were a bit hard, lovely pillows and cleaned when asked due to COVID, the cobbly stairs up to the room are a bit tricky after a drink or 6 so be careful of those! The food, was just INCREDIBLE. All cooked fresh, all cooked with a special touch of the families traditions. We ate at the hotel every night without discussion because we just knew we wanted more of the food. Cocktails were unreal, beware of the head f****r. Lovely but lethal. Can't explain how much we enjoyed ourselves and we've already looked at dates for next year. Polly and Pete x

Summer Holiday at Med Blue - fantastic

A last minute booking August due to the Canary Islands Lockdown. The Med Blue what a fantastic place, Billy and Kostas made us so welcome, a family run place for families. Food, Music and Staff all first class - the aparments and grounds are all totally Covid safe and safer than the UK. We will be back there next year, Spain just lost out the Greek Islands are so nice and safe and friendly.

A lovely, relaxing stay at a fantastic hotel! Thank you Med Blue!

My partner and I returned home last night after a much needed relaxing stay at Mediterranean Blue. We absolutely loved staying here and Penny, Andy and the rest of the team were so fantastic. We felt so welcomed by them all! We wanted to avoid the chaos of Kavos as much as possible and we managed to do just that at this great hotel. We spent our days lounging around the two gorgeous pools and the lovely, quiet beach which was literally just outside our bedroom! The breakfast at the hotel was just what we needed every morning and the rest of the food that we bought at the resort was also good! The cocktails were great and we really enjoyed the Greek Night! Our room was spacious, well maintained and the air conditioning was a god send! This hotel and its location 100% exceeded our expectations and we feel so lucky to have stayed here. Thank you Penny, Andy and the rest of the fantastic team at Med Blue! We would recommend Med Blue to anybody who wants to have a relaxing, fun holiday in the sun!

    HIDDEN FEES!!

The room was what you would expect from a 3 star hotel, everything was okay expect from: -shower head was broken - door wouldnt open from the inside (had to climb across the balcony to get out from another room -there was no safe as advertised -the wifi did not work -room service came once over seven days (we had to buy bin bags for our rubbish) The hotel is close to the beach but a bit of a walk from the strip, and the night guard can be annoying when you come home. The customer service was good, albeit I was not a fan of the food. What makes me give it two stars is the HIDDEN FEES!! When we checked out , they applied a sitting tax to our room tabs that DOUBLED the price and Penny would not let the bus leave until we had paid it . As a group, we spent over 150 on these hidden fees that we were never told about . If we knew about these, we wouldnt have bought any drinks !!!

    The most wonderful little place

We have just returned from a 5 day break at The Mediterranean Blue Hotel and we have already decided as a family that we are returning next year. From the moment we arrived we received the warmest welcome and it was evident that we were valued as guests and not just a room number. Everything was perfect, the hotel is really pretty, intimate and has a wonderful family feel. The food was fantastic and we couldnt fault it. Greek night was one of the best evenings we have experienced in a hotel and something we talked about for days afterwards. We have stayed in many 4/5 star hotels but this little gem really does have something special. The location was quiet and had a lovely little beach about 2 minutes away but you can get a transfer into Kavos if you want something lively in the evening but we were totally content on our evenings at the hotel. Thankyou so much Mediterranean Blue you gave us a very special and much needed family break that we could not fault.
