  Much better than expected

  Having read some very worrying reviews for the hotel I was fairly anxious about what we would find . I neednt have worried and i really couldnt see, why people were quite so negative. Its true there arent many British guests and if thats a problem for you, dont go there. Most guests are German and Russian. Language.. yes the staff speaks better German than English, but they try! The rooms, whilst i cannot comment on all rooms, ours and our friends were great. Ours particularly so, dual aspect, decent furniture, modern bathroom and most important to me perfectly clean. Our housekeeper worked tirelessly and everything was squeaky clean!!! Food... lovely food, we arent fussy and loved the Turkish cuisine, but even for a fussy eater there was always something on offer. The a la carte restaurant was probably the only real disappointment, not worth booking, boring food and very slow service. The drink... yes they are local stuff, but what can you expect for the money and my gin and tonics were definitely adequate. The beach ... not far to walk and pretty nice, there is a bar . The sea was just about warm enough to go for a swim. The pool was nice, but pretty chilly,it was the very end of October. The hotel is situated on a busy road , so ask for a poolside room! There are lots of shops all selling fake designers stuff, so if youre after pretty scenery, probably not your place. Side though is nice and not far in one of the dolmus taxis ( outside the hotel) So to sum it all up, I would definitely go again and dont be put off. ( we had room 4203 and it was great)

  Perfect

  Hotel Merve sun has captured my heart. Crew was absolutely perfect. I loved everyone. They were obliging and kind to us. The rooms were tidy and drinks were refreshing. I recomend you visiting HAMAM massage and you will not regret any time whick you spand there.

  All-inclusive, Good Value for money, friendly and pleasant staff

  I booked the family room traveling with my teenager. 2 nice clean rooms with connecting bathroom. Balcony unfortunately to the noisier street side but not too loud. Rooms were clean and cleaned regularly and well maintained. It offered nighttime entertainment, music, karaoke and dance. There are also options to play dart or pool. It comes with a decently sized pool and isn't a far walk from the beach (10-15min) but a shuttle is provided. The beach is located behind the buildings across the street. It is conveniently located to take the various excursions, trips and to go shopping. I took advantage of a course of pamper packages: steam, sauna and daily massages with and added clay mask & facial. Also a manicure and pedicure at the salon upstairs. A good deal compared to London prices and can be had even cheaper but the surroundings were nice, safe and convenient. The weather was perfect, warm enough to swim in the sea or pool but not too hot. On the day we left it reached 30/31 degrees. There were issues with the booking agent not passing the information on checking in. Initially, it was very stressful until the manager got involved to sort it out by the morning all necessary details were received. Food was plentiful a good selection and tasty. There are bars nearby with TV perfect if you follow football. There is a lot to do for teenagers and young families. Overall a pleasant enjoyable stay.

  The most chitty hotel

  We booked the hotel all inclusive We checked in and they didnt provide us any information about the hotel. The bed is really hard. the curtains are not sun blocking On their website it is stated that the Spa is available. But when we wanted to use it we had to pay for it. It is free only between 16:00 and 17:00 (a time your at the beach and not at the hotel) The fitness center is not for use, everything is broken. The hotel is not well managed. Theyre just ignorant when you try to tell them youre not satisfied. The shower broke on the first day showering. The food is tasteless. We payed 270 for 3 nights is not worth it! 4 stars ? I give it 2

  Fantastic staff,that go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable

  We didn't book this hotel but ended up here after Teletext booked us into a closed hotel. The welcome we received from Mehmet was lovely,we had 4 rooms between us,all great and clean. The staff are truly lovely and try hard to speak English and my 15 year old tried hard to speak Turkish,which they loved,not many English no,but stay in England if that's what you want! We had a wonderful 2 weeks.Mehmet Ali works tirelessly and always smiles,Mustapha is always happy and dancing ,Bilal is also a great guy,all the others too
