  Pecos, Texas Motel 6 was so bad every place after that looks good.

  To begin, the air in the Natchitochas Motel 6 smells clean; which leads me to believe that the cleaning staff actually cleans instead of using "air freshener" as a problem cover-up. There's plenty of hot water. The flooring is wood rather than carpeting, the latter can become sticky and soggy. The room was large with a cabinet that gave us plenty of room for our travel clothes. There were signs of damage done by cigarettes, notably a few holes that look like they were burned there by cigarettes, also the parking area was littered with cigarette butts. However until this addictive habit goes completely out of style this ugliness is just something the rest of us will have to put up with and ignore. Although a quick sweep of their parking area would probably rid the parking area of the butts and give this Motel 6 a more attractive entry. Little things, good or bad, do mean a lot. Summation: good, comfortable for 1-2 nights. Location: a beautiful area with lots to see.

  Be prepared for the minimum

  We were there for two nights for a track meet. When we checked in we were given a smoking room even though we didn't request one as neither of us have ever smoked. The said they would show us the room that it wouldn't smell. When we opened the door we smelled smoke, but not horribly overwhelming. The manager said he would be spraying it and it would no longer smell. Other places were sold out so we took it. We had to leave, but when we came back the smell was pretty much gone. It was dirty in corners, but overall decent for the price. The toilet and shower were clean as well as the linens. The water pressure was terrible, but enough to make it work. We didn't have to be to our venue until noon, so we rested in bed reading. There was no other place to just sit. The highlight of the stay was when there was a knock on our door. I assumed it was housekeeping. No, a man said he was here to fix the lock. He broke out a power saw and started cutting the steel with the door wide open and us laying in the bed. Sparks were going all over the room for about 10 minutes. We actually started laughing as it was a surreal experience. He was there about 20 minutes total with us in the bed and the door wide open the entire time! The staff was very kind, even delivering a hair dryer to our door, but unless you can't find another place, I wouldn't recommend it.

  Please shut this place down

  I have recently moved from NATCHITOCHES, LA to South Carolina. Drove the 13 hours alone to completely move out of my home here and bring back my pregnant daughter to S. Carolina. After moving out, it was late and we just wanted some rest before getting in the road, but EVERY hotel in the town is sold out because of the huge track meet at the local college. The only room in town was here. I realized MOTEL 6's are economical and little downscale and I was ok with that for the moment...but hey, what other option did I have? Omg! This was the worst place ever. The roaches were 'disrespectful'... They greeted us at the door and decided to join my daughter in bed while she tried to sleep. There was what appeared to be throw up smeared on the floor beside the bed...still on bed skirting. Please see pics of the bathroom door. I didn't bath here. I went back to my vacant house to bath. Furniture has been updated. I know, because I worked in just about every arena, here 21 years ago. This place use to be a beautiful HOLIDAY INN back then. Oh!let me not forget the hotel room completely exposed to the outdoors, because someone caught their significant other cheating and drove their vehicle into the room... Let me get pictures of that too. I need MOTEL 6 to take their franchise back!!!

  Rude front desk, she was CLUELESS

  I booked and paid online went inside and told her I had booked and was paid online. Kaipynn stated she needed card to charge o said I paid online heres my email its their card she once again stated without my card being charged I wasnt getting a room of course she had that ghetto attitude I told her first off lose the attitude she stated well I got one with you I well. She obviously wasnt intelligent enough to understand how online booking work she refunded the card. I laughed and said why would you need to refund a card if it wasnt already paid! Hotels.com called her and the rep even said Im sorry you had to deal with her she has no clue how it works. I think its because I was white, two black guys walked in and she was nice as pie.

  Since you have to put a star to review this property the title makes up for it. First off,ALL OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE TRUE!!!! Thevfront of one room being missing, TRUE The roaches TRUE, the dirtiness of the property TRUE, all of it TRUE. My room had BLOOD on the floor and toilet seat, room was dirty bed was dirty and halfway made I could go on and on. The only positive is after the second room they tried to give me was dirty they did give me a refund. The manager would NOT even come look at the rooms with us. TERRIBLE, If you love you woman....DO NOT BRING HER HERE!!!!! I very well welcome a response from management and I will be contacting Motel 6 about this disgraceful location.
