    Best Hotel in Omura

There are not many choices in Omura as far as good hotels. This is probably the best hotel in Omura (which is near the airport). The Good The rooms are much bigger compared to the ones you might encounter in Japan. The staff is very courteous and help typical of Japanese culture. Near to the airport and the services nearby. Improvements needed Has only wired internet. Need to add wifi. Also sometimes the internet speed is slow. Inside looks pretty old - Needs renovation/updating of the walls/carpet etc. Need more power points near the bed.

    Conveniently located, Clean, Comfortable.

This hotel was, for Omura City, the best choice. Initially the online booking engine would not allow to book for the entire trip. However, I had someone who speaks Japanese make a call to inquire and they did in fact have room for booking. It would be helpful to be able to speak a little Japanese.

    Comfortable but old-looking.

We only stayed here for one night en route to a cruise ship. The hotel was quite nice and comfortable, but could definitely do with a bit of a refurbishment. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and as helpful as they could be. There was a bit of a language problem, but we managed to communicate well enough. The area is not the best if you want to walk out to various venues, however it is quite close to the airport, so not too far to travel after a long flight. If you're looking for a reasonable place to stay for a night or two, this could be Ok. If you want a luxury place in the 'heart of the city' then probably not.

International in this case is a PUN

Most of the time, when you hear the word, International hotel, you can safely assume that the hotel in question puts forth an effort, to accommodate people from other countries, The Nagasaki International hotel is 100% pure Japanese, and not foreigner friendly in the least. All of the restaurant menus were Japanese only, and very few of the staff spoke English. We have lived in Japan long enough to know that there are many situations, where as a foreigner, you will be given the worst rooms, or location in a restaurant, and this hotel is that kind of place. There are two restaurants within the hotel, one considered western style and the other Japanese. We were turned away from the Japanese restaurant, with them telling us they were closed, but it was only 7:30, and there were a few empty tables in the restaurant, and the whole restaurant was populated by Japanese. The hotel is very outdated, and the décor shows it, from tattered furniture, to a moldy smell. The windows in our room whistled very loudly from the wind, so the staff had to cover the corners in tape, the curtains have holes in them, and there was mildew in the bathroom. The room smelled very dusty and moldy. The quality of the food in the restaurant we tried, is very over priced, and poor quality. We happened upon this hotel, because our plane scheduled for Tokyo was cancelled because of a snowstorm. We checked out the following morning and found out while again at the airport, that all flights had once again been cancelled. Rather than endure another night at the Nagasaki International Hotel, we elected to catch a cab back into Nagasaki and try our luck at another hotel. The only saving grace about this hotel is the fact its close to the airport, but I highly recommend finding any place other than this hotel

    Comfortable but needs upgrade

Stayed here several nights for business. It is very convenient to the airport and is in walking distance to several restaurants. The staff were friendly and spoke enough English for me to order food & request help. My room was quiet and had good views across the harbor. But the curtains are torn and ragged & the wifi is inconsistent: I suspect they turn it off in the morning. If it truly wishes to be an International hotel, upgrades are needed.
