    Bien ubicado para quien va al Saigon Convention center

    El hotel es limpio, moderno y muy bien ubicado delante del saigon convention center... el desayuno muy completo y el precio mas que razonable, como puntos negativos para mi fue el hecho de No tener room service de comidas y a pesar de tener al lado un buen restaurante japones no tienes muchas opciones de cenar s no quieres salir lejos del hotel... y el internet no muy bueno, por lo demas y especialmente si se va al centro de convenciones es la mejor opcion sin duda algua... si se va de turismo entonces NO porque queda lejos del centro!

    Starting to go downhill

    I have stayed at Capri many times before. Staff are always friendly and helpful. For some reason (cost cutting?), they no longer run the air conditioners in the elevators or floor corridors so they are like furnaces! It also has a knock on effect in your room. The aircons in the rooms are independant aircons and not centralized, thus when you leave your room and take the 1 keycard they issue you with, the aircon switches off. Couple this with no aircon in the corridors, it means when you return to your room to sleep its unbearably hot and takes ages for the (dated) room aircon unit to cool the room down. Breakfast has also gone downhill too. Such a shame for what was once a good place to stay. If the hotel is experiencing budget/cost issues they should cut the room rate charge not the services.

    I would choose Capri again!

    The hotel is located in district 7 which takes around 20 mins from the airport. It is really convenient to get here since they provide airport pickup service. The van was clean. Malls and restaurants are located nearby. It is quiet compared to the city center so I had a very good sleep during the trip. The room was really clean and comfortable. The services was excellent! It is the best choice for long-stay guests. Highly recommend to those who visit for SECC events (5 mins by walk from the hotel to SECC). I would definitely choose Capri again!

    Would definitely pick Capri again if I ever visit HCM again

    This review comes in tad late.. I stayed at the hotel during one of my business trips in mid-2018. Christy was such a great help in not only making sure that I have had a comfortable stay but also accomodating every request I made. As I make it a point to mention in all my reviews, I am a vegetarian & do face a lot of not-left-for-any-choice options when it comes to food. I categorically mentioned to Christy in all my communications about this and she made sure that there was one vegetarian dish (read no fish - no mushroom - no egg ) exclusively made every day for breakfast. My mom and my then 6 years old joined me on the 4th day of my stay and Christy not only accommodated additional requests but also offered me a no additional cost deal for the rest of my stay. The rooms may seem a little congested if you are staying with the family leaving you very little space to move in after you have placed your luggage and stuff, however, if you are solo then its quite ok. The rooms have also facilities of a studio serviced apartment. Also should be an ideal choice for people traveling for business purpose or to attend an exhibition at the convention center. Located in District 7, it's about 30-45 mins drive from the city center. I chose to extend my stay with my family at the hotel and not move into the city after my work trip for many reasons one of them also being that the hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle from the hotel to the city center on weekend as per a set schedule. If you can match up it really saves you bucks. Very friendly staff & service is very good. The property has restaurants, a mall, a movie theatre, family mart, coffee shop at a walkable distance. SECC, the convention center is a hop-skip-and-jump from the hotel. Don't forget to Free-rent cycles from the hotel and have a fun ride later in the night after a tiring day to rejuvenate or start your day soaking in some sunlight and fresh air.

    Capri By Fraser Ho Chi Minh City - studio apartment near SECC

    If you've to attend events at SECC, this is a convenient accommodation to stay in because SECC is located just across the road. There are a few restaurants nearby and a convenience stall opposite. Or order a Grab / Taxi to get out of this relatively quiet neighbourhood. But do note that Grab / Taxi tend to stop at Ibis entrance, which is the first drop-off that they see when they turn into this road. Just try to wave to them to drive another 50m to Capri, which can be identified by the purple tentage entrance. Staff is friendly and there is daily housekeeping. I had a studio apartment, which is small by studio apartment's standard but adequate for a 1- or 2-day stay. It comes with a kitchenette and a small cosy sitting area.
